Transformers Prime: Blackmist

Chapter 5

While Bulkhead decided to climb his way onto the Nemesis. I thought it better to fly. I dropped out of the sky and transformered right onto a Vehicon. Bulk joined me in destroying the Vehicons.
I looked around me and then down at Jack, Raf, and Miko. Except Miko wasn't with them.
"Where's Miko?!" Bulkhead asked. There was a banging from inside my chest. We both looked there, but Bulk turned away.
I opened my chassis and out came Fate. She looked disgusted and flew over to Bulkheads shoulder. Miko appeared and looked rather sick.
"I may have heaved." She said. I grabbed her and handed her to Bulk. I gave her a frown, which she turned away from. "Sorry."
Just as Bulk was about to say something more Vehicons showed up. I looked over at them the Fate. She nodded and grabbed Miko from Bulk.
Bulk was about to say something but got shot at. I ran the Vehicons with a blade in my hand. A blade is what I use to fight with. It will get bigger or smaller if needed.
I through it a Vehicon head just as a slab of metal took them all out. My blade came back to me, as well as Fate. She dropped Miko into Bulkheads hand and landed on his shoulder.
There were blasts coming at us from behind. We jumped down a hole and landed in a hallway. I ran off in a different direction from Bulk. I made it to Soundwave and he stopped working. He turned to me and behind his visor I could tell he was happy.
"Soundwave, I don't have much time. I'm going to be an Autobot and I can't stay here." I told him. Through our bond I could tell he was sad.
"I understand Blackmist. We will keep in touch sister." Soundwave said and went back to work. I nodded and ran off to find Fowler.
I entered the brig just as the Autobots. I ran in front of them and quickly grabbed Fowler. Starscream looked over at me and frowned.
"I knew you weren't for the Decepticon cause. But siding with Autobots? Soundwave must not be pleased, Mist." Starscream said. I only let people close to me call me Mist. Starscream is one of those people.
He is not. But it is not your concern, Star.
I projected the words. Everyone was watching us talk.
"We will keep in touch, Mist." After that Starscream transformed and flew out of there. The Bots looked at me. I stared back at them with a slight glare.
They can hate me all they want. I will say goodbye to my friends.
We transformered and went to where the kids were left. Bulkhead had left Fate with them, so they should be safe. I felt sharp pain in spark.
I faltered in my flying and almost knocked Arcee over. It was cramped to fly in the halls.
"Watch it!" Arcee shouted up at me. I transformed when we reached the humans. I looked for Fate, but didn't see her.
"I'm Blackmist. Fate took a shot meant for Raf." Jack apologized. I nodded to him and ran to Fate. She was living, but barely. I put her in my chest and followed the rest out.
Miko really wanted to fly with me but everyone disagreed. I still have to clean up what she heaved in my cockpit.

Back at base we watched Optimus help Ratchet with his arm. They both walked over to us. Optimus turned to Bulkhead and me.
"It was very unwise to take the children with you." Optimus said. Bulkhead turned his head to the floor while I looked up at him.
"Its not their fault! I went with Bulkhead without him knowing." Miko said.
"Miko!" Bulkhead whispered. "Please."
"Yeah, and we went with Blackmist, when she went after Miko." Jack defended me. I looked at him and flicked him lightly with my fingers.
"And we got a pic of the Decepticons plans!" Miko shouted. She got out her phone and I caught a glimpse of the photo. It was the plans for the Space Bridge!.
I froze in my place and Raf looked over at me.
"Are you alright Blackmist?" He asked, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. I nodded my head stiffly.
"Blackmist, since you were with the Decepticons. Can you tell us what this is?" Optimus asked me. Miko showed me the photo. I nodded me head.
Space Bridge project. I was in charge with Soundwave on getting it done. Its almost complete.
The words appeared and then disappeared again. I felt another sharp pain in my spark. I grimaced and opened my chest. I grabbed Fate out gently.
She had a hole through her chest. One of her wings was just barely hanging on. Most of her claws were gone, like they got stuck and ripped out.
I thought everyone had left to go do something else. So I jumped when I heard Ratchet.
"What is that?" He asked from behind me. I looked up at him then Fate.
My creation, Fate. She took a shot for the children.
I sadly set her a table next to me.
"She can still be saved. You fix her if you wish. I have tools." Ratchet said. I looked up at him to see him working on the computers.
Thank you.
They showed up right in front of his face. Ratchet let out a small scream. I walked into the Med bay and grabbed the top I'll need.
I walked back to Fate and spread out the tools. I felt eyes on me and saw Raf. I motioned him over. He came over and I lifted him up to the table.
"I'm sorry about Fate. You seemed really close to her." Raf said. I nodded and started working on Fate.
I started with setting her broken bones. Then welded her wing back on and put it in a splint. I went to start on her chest when I felt Soundwave trying to contact me.
"What happened to Fate?" He asked. I stopped working and looked at Raf . He seemed really intent on watching me work.
"Took a shot for some humans. No she was not being stupid." I sent back to Soundwave. I knew he, as well as Laserbeak, felt the pain of me and Fate.
"Laserbeak keeps trying to get to her. She doesn't like either of you hurt." Soundwave said. I knew he was using Laserbeak to show he cared.
"Fate is going to be fine, as am I. You too don't get hurt. I will hunt you down with my pranks." I playfully threatened them. I knew Soundwave would have a Smiley face on his visor if I was there.
"Hey Blackmist? How is Fate able to talk with us?" Raf asked. I cut off my connection with Soundwave.
She holds part of my spark. That is also why she is living.
The gold lettering appeared in front of us.
"I have to go now. But will Fate be fine?" The boy asked while I handed him to Bee. I nodded and went back to work.
It was going to be a long night.
