An Optimus Prime x reader story.
It's five years after the Decepticon invasion of Chicago, the Autobots were originally granted sanctu...
"We're getting flanked everywhere! Help me out here. Shoot anything that moves!" Hound says. "Come on, Yn, shoot!"
You knock out one of the windows and pull the alien gun up and shoot.
Joyce groans loudly hiding under a table. "I can't believe I'm putting my life in your hands!"
"Oh, yeah? Be my guest. Take the gun, lead the way!"
"No, no! You're good with the gun, you keep it."
"Then stay down and shut up!" You tell him.
You continue firing and helping. Stinger was hiding behind a pillar about to shoot, but before it could you shoot it down.
"Good shooting, Yn!" Hound praises.
As Hound is fighting, he throws a grenades into the room to Joyce and Darcy. "Pull the pin! I'm dying out here!" He tells you.
You pull off your jacket and run to grab it. Joyce lifts the heavy grenade with a grunt, you pull the pin and throw it back to Hound. The grenade does a lot of damage but it's still coming more.
"I got some bad news, Yn. I'm out of ammo and out of ideas."
Then Optimus, Drift and Crosshair reach the city, riding the Dinosaur Transformers. Hound eventually gets to the ground.
You jump out the window and run to him. "Get up, Hound!"
"I can't go on."
"You gotta keep fighting! There's more coming!"
One is running toward you and you fire at it, but then Optimus has reached you and takes it out.
"Optimus is here!" Hound cheers.
You watch in awe at Optimus fighting, riding a Dinobot. Then you see one coming from behind when he's fighting one of front of him. You lift the gun and shoot it, hitting just right to take it out with one shot. Optimus notice one being taken out behind him, and looking around he sees you just as you shoot another heading in his direction.
Soon it settles down and everyone meet up.
Optimus points at Joyce. "You! Step forward!"
"Me?" He says, but you push him forward.
"Your science will be responsible for the humanities extinction."
"Okay, I know you are sensitive to this whole bioethical dilemma-" Joyce says but you interrupt him.
"Maybe all he wants to hear that some things should never be invented." You tell him.
The Dinobot roars loudly at Joyce and he screams.
"We'll lead you out of the city. Get that seed safely to the hill." Optimus says.
"Use this car." Drift points to one and you run there with Joyce.
"He almost ate me!" He complains, you ignore him and check the car.
"Alright, we're good." You say and help put the seed in the back with Joyce and Darcy.
You take off and all the Autobots and Dinobots cover your car from all sides protecting and leading you out of the city.
You hear a click sound and gasps behind you. "What did you do?" You glance behind and see the seed glowing and beeping.
"I don't know, but it's an issue."
"Is it gonna blow up?" Darcy asks him.
"A bomb starts beeping, that might signal a problem, yeah!" You tell her in anger.
"It's a steady blinking light which could be a timer of some kind.. Unless it's signalling location."
"To who?"

Lockdown's ship has arrived back on earth and he activates his ship to start sucking everything in the city up into his ship, destroying it, knowing it will make Optimus come to him.

"There's the bridge!" Darcy points.
"Whoa!"
You look up when you notice movement and a bus and other vehicles and even ships are falling down in your path.
They get hysterical in the back. "Just calm down!" You say as you starts backing away.
Optimus and the Autobots transformed and started running away after you to avoid the falling debris too. He runs right behind you to cover you if necessary, grunting a few times as he gets hit. "Seek cover! Autobots, fall back!"
"Get out of the way!" You shout as you drive in reverse among a crowd running.
"Move! Ah, just hit them!" Joyce says in frustration. Then he looks up at Lockdowns ship closing in. "It's a big magnet!"
"Sucking up metal and dropping it." Darcy says looking at it, while you concentrate on driving away before the magnet catches on to the car.
You reverse drive into a building to take cover when a huge ship starts falling. But then you see stuff inside starts to hover upward, also feeling the car rise. "The magnet! Get out!"
You jump out as does Darcy, but when Joyce does and holds the seed it is hovering up to so he holds on to it, you catch the bag and try to keep him down. Then you start rising with it and Darcy catches your feet. Then the magnet is past you and you fall down to the ground.
"Car!" You shout and push them with you before the car falls back on you.
"Go find somewhere safe." Joyce tells Darcy and run with you.
"Yn!" Optimus says when you run to him as the others reach him too. "Autobots, get the bomb over the bridge and out of the city!"
You see the ship circling back. "Optimus!" You shout and seeing it he grabs the nearest light pole to hold on, but as he gets sucked up it rips off the ground. The Dinobots all get sucked upwards too.
He grabs the edge of the roof of the building before he loses hold and fires at the magnet, it explodes and everything falls back down. Landing harshly on the ground he grunts.
"It's you and me now." He says and run to get to Lockdown.
You stop before getting in the car to Bumblebee and turn to Joyce. "Optimus is up there all alone."
"You can't help him." He says.
"I have to, he came back for me. I'm not leaving him." You say.
You let go of the seed and Joyce grunt from the weight. He just rolls his eyes.
"Fine, if you want to die for your robot boyfriend you go ahead, I'm not gonna stop you." He mumbles and go to the cars picking him up to get out of the city.
You just ignore him, pulling your gun up and take off running after Optimus. The others leave but Bumblebee hesitates, looking the direction you ran off.
