Alpha Trion's revelation left everyone stunned, their optics widening in disbelief. The realization of (Y/Cyb/n)'s transformation problem being rooted in the unique genetics of his species hit them like a bolt of lightning.

"So... you're saying..." The red and blue began, his voice quivering. "He can't... transform like us?" Orion's optics widened with horror, shock, sympathy, and guilt.

It was hard to wrap his processor around what he had just heard. They-Cybertronians, who were just cogless miner bots-had just been bestowed a rare gift, but their friend-the last surviving Codex of Algorithmic Prime's future generation-was unable to receive its benefits.

Alpha Trion nodded solemnly. "Not with a T-cog, no..."

Elita-1 spoke up, her voice more composed. "So, he can't have a t-cog?" She repeated, still processing the information.

"But... but..." B-127 stepped closer to his friend, watching his body glitch and spasm uncontrollably.

D-16 approached his glitched friend and grabbed his shoulders, trying to help him stay on his pedes. "You're saying he can't have a transformation cog because of Algorithmic Prime's Affinity side..." He furrowed his optic ridges in frustration. "But...why and how?"

"[LIGHTHEARTED GIGGLE]- OW-" (Y/Cyb/n) expressed his "lighthearted giggle" by reflexively stating his action before he glitched again. "It's kind of self-explanatory since the word 'Algorithm' is in the name Algorithmic Prime."

"Algorithm... You mean like, an equation?" Orion Pax said, his voice soft but laced with worry.

The elderly prime nodded, "Yes, my spark brother has a unique talent for creating complex equations and algorithms, hence his name. He has a powerful ability to manipulate Cybertronian bodies and functions (if he wanted to but chooses not to), technology complexities, and his surrounding environment. He can calculate probabilities and make equations." Alpha Trion looked at (Y/Cyb/n) with sympathy, seeing how he was glitching and spasming from struggles to stay on his pedes.

"He... was rather strange when it comes to speaking." The ancient Prime looked up, remisnecing the times with his spark brother. "He was either some mech speaking the Archiac language fluently, or a nerd." He chuckled slightly.

"But one day, he told me that his dream was to be able to bestow some gift of magic if he were ever to offline; he wanted to see the future generations carry on the ways of his magic-which were called Algorithms."

The five mechs turned to each other, processing the information before nodding, let the purple and silver mech continued.

"When he gained Affinity, he immediately narrowed down probabilities and possibilities if his future generations of Codexes inherited them and the possibilities of their violent alter egos emerging from them. There was a 97% chance of being completely normal when his generations gain the Algorithms without having Affinity. For a safe measure, he created a code that anyone who inherited the 3% would not be able to earn the Algorithms, but were still count as Codexes."

The five mechs turned to each other, processing the information before nodding, letting the purple and silver mech continue.

"His code..." Alpha Trion said, his optics softened, and his voice filled with sympathy, "He designed it in a way that the Cybertronians that receive the Algorithms-the 3% of the Codexes with the Affinity side-would have their transformation Cog rejected and malfunction."
