*Knock! Knock! Knock!*

"(Y/Cyb/n)! Can you come out, please? I am getting worried."

The blue and red mech, Orion Pax, stood outside (Y/Cyb/n)'s hub, rapping gently on the door. His concern for his friend was evident as he called out to (Y/Cyb/n), hoping for a response. Ever since (Y/Cyb/n) was shunned by society and found solace in the friendship of Orion Pax and D-16, he had been struggling with self-acceptance. Despite his unique nature, he longed for validation and understanding, which only his two loyal friends provided.

However, on this particular day, (Y/Cyb/n) had locked himself inside his hub, refusing to come out. Orion Pax, having noticed the distress in his friend during their last encounter, felt compelled to check on him. D-16 initially advised giving (Y/Cyb/n) some space, but Orion Pax couldn't shake off the worry. Standing before the closed door, he called out to his friend, hoping for a response.

"(Y/Cyb/n), it's me, Orion Pax. Can you open the door?" Orion Pax's voice was gentle but concerned as he tried to reassure his friend from the other side of the door.

Inside the hub, (Y/Cyb/n) sat huddled against the wall, his frame trembling with fear. He had been tormented by unsettling whispers and horrifying hallucinations, making him question his identity, purpose, and abilities. Despite his distress, (Y/Cyb/n) hesitated to confide in his friends, fearing rejection and abandonment.

He released a shaky sigh as he eyed the shattered mirror fragments on the ground with fear, resentment, and disdain. He had several mirrors around his room, reminding him of how everyone disliked him. However, after meeting Orion Pax and D-16, he changed his perspective, now seeing it as a reminder that he is who he is.

But now, after seeing an eldritch centipede creature with multiple screen optics replacing his spot before him, they were all cracked or partially shattered.

"Please, (Y/Cyb/n)," Orion Pax tried to assure the Codex in the room. "I promise you I won't get mad or scared." He glanced at the hub's door panel, which the screen displayed a light pink-colored gear, indicating (Y/Cyb/n) was using his Saboteur Catalyst Algorithm. "I mean, we can go out and get some gelato after this if you want to—"

*PING!*

The emblem disappeared on the hub's panel, allowing Orion Pax to enter into his friend's hub.

The door opened with a soft click, revealing Orion Pax standing before (Y/Cyb/n), now sitting against his berth. He was curled up with his helm down, optics dimmed, and staring at the floor. (Y/Cyb/n)'s fans were running at full speed, attempting to cool his overwhelmed systems from the torment he had endured.

The hub's interior was neat and orderly, with various props and trinkets in their respective areas. But the shattered mirror fragments on the floor drew Orion Pax's attention, adding to the concerning atmosphere. "(Y/Cyb/n)... are you okay?" He inquired softly, noting that the Codex didn't want to look into the mirrors he had.

(Y/Cyb/n) tensed as Orion Pax entered, his frame shaking with fear and trepidation. He quickly tried to regain composure, straightening his frame as much as possible, and turned his helm away from the cogless miner bot.

The mirror fragments scattered on the floor glittered mockingly across the room, seemingly reflecting his fractured self.

"[ASSURANCE]" The Codex chirped reflexively. "I'm— I'm fine," (Y/Cyb/n) mumbled monotonously, his flat voice pitching with barely contained distress. "You didn't have to bother with me. I'm fine, really..."
