Chapter 12

Niall (surprise!)

The boys and I follow Zayn as he walks with her out of the school. I had her bag on my shoulder. I heard him ask her where her keys were and she replied saying they were in the front pocket of her bag.

I reached into the pocket and pulled them out and handed them to him with a sigh. He walks over to the passenger side and puts her into the car carefully. When she's safe in the car he walks back to us with a cold look.

"Louis, Niall take her to my apartment there's something wrong I can feel it"

He tossed Louis the Keys and we nodded. I jumped into the back seat and gave her a small smile. After a silent drive to the apartment she finally speaks up.

"Lou?"
"Yes darling"
"Why is Harry being a dick all of a sudden"
"I don't know darling" he signs

She looks back at me. I give her a sympathetic smile. There was a look in her eyes that I couldn't quite read. It was worrying me.

She opens the door at the same time I do so I decided to get out on her side.

She started swaying back and forth before she started at collapse.

"Hope!"

I rushed to her and caught her just in time before she hit the pavement. Louis sprinted to her side.

"What happened?" he rushes out.
"I don't know but we need to get her up to the apartment now"

I slowly picked her up. And walk to the entrance of the building and enter the elevator.

After a long ride we made it to zayns floor. I rushed down the hall to his door Louis right behind me. He swings the door open and we see all the guys there.

"What the fuck happened" Zayn was the first one to the door. He took her out of my arms.

"I don't know she got out of the car and fainted"

He gives me a stone look and walks into the other room. I sigh.

"Ignore him Ni, he's just worried" Louis pats my back softly trying not to hurt my healing bullet wound.

I sigh again and walk into the living room. Liam and Harry were there I plopped down in the couch next to Liam. I'm guessing Louis and Zayn were with hope in the other room. I reach into my pocket and grab my cigarettes out. Putting one in my mouth I put the pack back in my pocket grabbing my lighter instead. I cupped my hand so the cigarette would light. I inhaled deeply and held it before I blew it out feeling all my nerves go with it.

"I thought you were quitting" Liam's voice breaks the silence.
I just shrugged.

"Why does it matter Liam we all smoke he's not gonna quit when it's always around him" harry mumbles

I just keep my head down and focus on finishing my cigarette.

Louis busts through the door and running into the kitchen. I stand up in a flash and follow him.

"Lou what's wrong"
"She hasn't ate anything in 3 days"

I immediately knew who he was talking about. I look at him shocked.

"W-what?" I stuttered
He quickly looks back at me and nods as he finishes the sandwich he was making. When he's done he runs back into the room Zayn and hope are in. I look in that direction for a little bit and decide against going there. She's probably overwhelmed as it is.

Hope

I hear people walking around me but I can't remember where I am. It feels like I'm in a bed of some sort. I groan as I try to open my eyes. The walking comes to a stop. I finally get my eyes open and look around. I'm in an unfamiliar room. My eyes land on Zayn and Louis looking at me.

"What happened"
"Hope you fainted when you got out of the car thank god Niall caught you" Louis states

I look at him hoping he will say he's joking and we can laugh.

"Fuck" I mumble
"Hope do you know why you fainted?" Zayn asks with a serious expression.

I look at him lost for words.

"I haven't ate anything in 3 days" I say under my breath hoping they don't hear me say it.

Louis and Zayn look at me shocked and Zayn gives him a look and before I can think he races out of the room. Zayn calmly walks to the side of the bed and kneels down.

"Why?"
I shrugged
"I wasn't hungry"
"You need to eat hope"

I just look down.

Can this conversation just be over?

"No it can't hope"
"Did I say that out loud?"

He just nodded. For the next few minutes he tried to get me to talk but I just stayed silent because of how embarrassed I felt.

Louis comes rushing in with a sandwich. I give him a small smile knowing that's for me. He hands it to me. I look down at it, my stomach turning. I feel like I'm going to throw up.

"Please eat it"
I look up to see Louis looking at me with worried eyes.

I nodded and took a bite before I knew it the whole sandwich was gone.

I looked up at the boys again and they were smiling. They looked proud? Why would they be proud though I'm just seeing things.

"Thank you hope" Zayn mumbles, kissing my forehead.

I give him a small smile and look down again. Louis walks over and tilts my head up so I'm looking at him.

"Don't be embarrassed darling let's go watch a movie yea?"
"Ok" I mumble.

He smiles and slowly picks me up. The three of us walk into the living room Liam and Niall immediately look at me while Harry is on his phone smirking at something.

Louis sits down next to Niall with me on his lap. I cuddle into him. I quickly look up to see Harry staring at us with his jaw clenched and zayn is right next to him he has a look of jealousy in his eye.

The night goes smoothly, nothing major has happened except for Harry storming out of the apartment halfway through the movie. Zayn went after him but came back minutes later shaking his hand. The rest of the night was spent in silence.

       "Hope angel, we need to take you home" Niall spoke up.
I nodded my head, still exhausted from what had happened today.

      "I'll drive her, you lot meet me there?" Liam speaks this time.
They all have a mutual agreement and we start walking to the parking garage.
I get into the car and immediately shut my eyes my head it fucking ponding. I hear Liam slide into the driver's seat and close the door.

         "Hope, can we talk?"
I turn my body towards him.
         "You need to stay away from Zayn and Harry they are not as innocent as they seem"

I look at him confused.

         "Don't question it sweetheart just listen to me please"

That was the last thing he said about it and the rest of the drive was silent.

What did he mean by they are not as innocent as they seem?
