As a child,
She longed for love
But she didn't know
What real love would be like—
She only knew the ache of wanting.
She carried the ache with her,
Pretending it wasn't there.
She saw everyone so happy,
But felt like an alien in this damn world.
She spoke in silence,
Wishing someone would understand, The weight she wore.
Years passed,
And finally she understood—
Hoping was her biggest mistake.
Now she just survives,
With no dreams to keep,
Mastering the act of
Pretending to be complete
