CHAPTER- 22

The soft sound of giggles echoed through the luxurious mansion as sunlight streamed through the large windows. You smiled to yourself, leaning against the kitchen counter, watching Jungkook play with your one-year-old daughter, Minji.

"Come on, Minji! You can do it!" Jungkook cheered, his eyes sparkling with joy as he encouraged her to take her first steps. Minji, with her big doe-like eyes and tiny pigtails, looked up at him with absolute adoration, her little hands reaching out for him.

You felt a swell of love as you observed the scene. The once-mysterious mafia king had transformed into a doting father, and every moment spent with Minji brought out a softer side of him that you cherished.

"Dada!" Minji squealed, her chubby legs wobbling as she took a few tentative steps toward Jungkook.

"That's it! Come to Daddy!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. As she fell forward, he caught her effortlessly, lifting her high into the air, eliciting a burst of laughter from both of them.

The sight warmed your heart, and you couldn't help but join them. "You're such a good dad, Jungkook," you said, stepping into the living room. "She adores you."

"Of course she does! Look at her!" He beamed, placing Minji back on her feet. "She's a natural."

Minji took another few shaky steps toward you, her arms stretched out in your direction. "Mama!" she called, her voice filled with joy.

You knelt down, opening your arms wide. "That's right! Come here, sweet girl!" You felt a rush of happiness as she rushed into your embrace, her small body warm against you.

"Have you two been up to any trouble while I was in the office?" Jungkook teased, crossing his arms and leaning against the doorway with a proud smile.

"Just a little," you laughed, knowing full well that Minji had been in the middle of her playtime, creating a delightful mess of toys in the living room.

The three of you spent the rest of the morning playing together, laughter filling the air as you watched Minji explore her little world. As she babbled and cooed, Jungkook looked at you, his expression shifting to something deeper.

"Y/N," he began, a hint of seriousness in his tone. "I never imagined life could be this... fulfilling. Minji has changed everything."

You nodded, feeling a lump form in your throat. "She really has. It's amazing how much love one little person can bring into our lives."

He stepped closer, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you in for a gentle kiss. "I'm grateful for you and our little family. You've made me see life differently."

You smiled, the warmth of his words wrapping around you like a comforting blanket. "I feel the same way. We've built something beautiful together."

As you watched Minji play, you couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and hope for the future. With Jungkook by your side, you knew that you could face any challenge—together.
