Samyuktika's gaze drifted toward the door as it swung open. Ekansh strode in, his presence commanding attention.
The servant followed, expertly arranging the momos and chutney on the table. "Leave us," Ekansh instructed, his eyes locked on Samyuktika.
The servant nodded and departed, closing the door behind him. Ekansh's gaze never wavered.
"Enjoy your momos," he said, his voice low. Samyuktika's cheeks warmed. "Thanks," she murmured.
Ekansh pulled up a chair, sitting beside her. "Try one," he coaxed, picking up a momo.
Their fingers touched as he handed it to her. A spark of electricity. Samyuktika quickly pulled away.
Ekansh's eyes crinkled. "Still sensitive?" he teased. Samyuktika's flush deepened.
"Stop it, Ekansh."Ekansh chuckled. "I'm just beginning."
While looking at the momos. Samyuktika's eyes welled up with gratitude. She suddenly sprang from her seat. And ran to Ekansh. "Thank you so much!" she exclaimed.
Her arms wrapped tightly around him..In a warm, impulsive hug. Ekansh's eyes widened in surprise.
Then softened. He enveloped her in his embrace. "Anytime, Samyuktika," he whispered.
His voice vibrated through his chest.
As Samyuktika's ear pressed against it.
For a moment, they stood entwined.
The world around them melted away.
Leaving only the warmth of their connection.Samyuktika's heart pounded. Ekansh's grip tightened. Their bodies swayed slightly. In perfect sync.
The air was charged with unspoken emotions. As they savored the tender moment.
Suddenly, Ekansh's phone buzzed. Shattering the tranquility. Ekansh released her. His eyes lingering on hers.
"Important call," he murmured. Samyuktika stepped back. Her cheeks flushed. The intensity of their hug still lingered. Between them.
Ekansh returned, composed. "Where were we?" he asked, smiling. Samyuktika gestured to the momos.
"Eating," she replied, grinning. They began their meal. Samyuktika dipped her momo completely in the sauce.
Ekansh winced, watching. "You like it spicy," he observed. Samyuktika's eyes sparkled.
"The spicier, the better." Ekansh chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind." He gingerly dipped his momo in the sauce.
Just a hint of chili. His eyes began to water. "Ah, damn," he muttered. Samyuktika laughed.
"You can't handle spice?" Ekansh shook his head. " No." Tears welled up.
Samyuktika handed him a glass of water."Drink." Ekansh sipped. Relief washed over his face. Samyuktika was in heaven.
Eating momos, savoring each bite. Her joy was palpable. Ekansh watched.
A smile spreading. "You love momos," he stated.Samyuktika nodded. "Mmm... best thing ever." Her eyes shone. Ekansh's gaze lingered.
Admiring her carefree happiness. For a moment, all worries faded. Only the simple pleasure. Of sharing a meal together.
Samyuktika finished her last momo. Her face glowed with satisfaction. "Blissful," she sighed.
Ekansh laughed. "Glad you enjoyed it." Samyuktika's eyes sparkled. "Best momos ever!" Ekansh smiled.
"I'll make sure to order from them again," he said. Samyuktika's grin widened. "You're too kind." Ekansh's expression softened.
"For you, always," he replied. Their gazes met, sharing a warm connection. Samyuktika's heart fluttered.
She looked away, breaking the spell. "I'm so full," she said. Ekansh chuckled.
"Time for a walk?" he asked. Samyuktika nodded. "Fresh air sounds lovely."
They strolled out into the lush garden, surrounded by nature's serenity. Their footsteps synchronized in comfortable silence as they walked side by side.
The maids whispered among themselves "Are they the same couple from two days ago?" one asked.
Another nodded. "Looks like Ekansh sir is falling for Samyuktika mam."
A third maid raised an eyebrow. "How is it even possible? He's always been heartless."
The first maid leaned in. "I know, right? But see how gentle he is with her."
They observed Ekansh and Samyuktika's relaxed stroll. "Maybe she's the one who can change him," the second maid suggested. The third maid scoffed. "I doubt it. He's too hardened."
But as they watched Ekansh smile at Samyuktika. Their doubts began to fade. Perhaps, just perhaps.
Love was transforming Ekansh. Into a better man. One who deserved Samyuktika's love.
The maids exchanged knowing glances.
"Looks like our Samyuktika mam has tamed the untamable Ekansh sir," one whispered. Just then, Ekansh's phone rang.He excused himself, answering the call. Samyuktika continued walking, lost in thought.
The maids dispersed, returning to their duties. But their whispers spread like wildfire.
Through the mansion's corridors. Reaching the ears of Ekansh's loyal assistant.
Rahul's eyes narrowed. "Ekansh sir's vulnerability is increasing," he thought. "A liability we can't afford."
Rahul's expression turned calculating.
He dialed a number. "It's time to take action," he whispered. As Ekansh returned to Samyuktika's side. Unaware of the storm brewing around him.
Their peaceful stroll continued. But the shadows of intrigue. Lurked, waiting to strike.
"Ekansh, what the...?" Rihaan exclaimed, halting mid-stride. Ekansh turned, a hint of wariness.
"Rihaan, what brings you here?" Rihaan's eyes darted to Samyuktika. Then back to Ekansh, incredulous.
"You're with... her?" Rihaan asked, voice laced with shock. Ekansh's expression turned guarded.
"Yes, I am." Rihaan's voice dropped to a whisper. "The same woman you've been cursing for months?"
Ekansh's jaw clenched. "Things changed, Rihaan." Rihaan's eyes widened. "Changed? You were adamant about—"
Ekansh cut him off. "Drop it, Rihaan."
Rihaan's gaze lingered on Samyuktika.
Then back to Ekansh."Fine, but you owe me an explanation."
Ekansh nodded. "Later, Rihaan. Not now."Rihaan's eyes narrowed. "This isn't over, Ekansh." Samyuktika watched the exchange.
Sensing underlying tensions. "Is everything okay?" she asked Ekansh. Ekansh's mask slipped back into place.
"Everything's fine," he reassured. But Rihaan's presence stirred unease. In the tranquil atmosphere.
Samyuktika's eyes narrowed."You were cursing me?" she asked Ekansh. "How mean. I shouldn't have talked to you." She turned to Rihaan. "Thanks, bhaiya, for letting me know about this man."
Rihaan smiled. "Anytime, sister. By the way, I'm Rihaan, his best friend." He glanced at Ekansh. "And you must be Samyuktika, the first girl to ever enter his life."
Ekansh's expression darkened. "Rihaan, enough." Rihaan chuckled. "Just stating facts, Ekansh. You've finally met your match."
Samyuktika's eyes sparkled. "First girl in his life? That's interesting."
Ekansh's jaw clenched."Rihaan, let's talk later." Rihaan nodded. "Later, buddy. Nice meeting you, Samyuktika."
With a parting smile, Rihaan departed. Leaving Ekansh and Samyuktika. In an awkward silence.
"Care to explain?" Samyuktika asked.
Ekansh sighed. "Let's talk inside." He guided her toward the mansion.Their tension palpable. Would Ekansh reveal his past? Or keep his secrets hidden?
