(Louis's POV)

It has been a long, and very tiring day. I've cleaned the dishes, vacuumed, busted my mother, and just sat about waiting for Roman to get back.

Yes he was always home late, but I figured since it was our anniversary that he would get home sooner. But, this morning he never spoke about it being anything important and treated today as if it were a regular day.

Though, I don't fully blame him for possibly forgetting. He has alot of his mind, especially for being a public accountant. But usually he's good at remembering stuff, but yet again so do I, and I sometimes forget.

After sitting around for about an extra hour I hear the sound of keys jingle together, and the sound of the apartment door opening.

"I'm home" a tired, but strong enough voice speaks, it was Roman. I carfully get up and rush towards him to hug him.

(Roman's POV)

Right as I unlock the door I'm greeted with my wife. Arms wrapped around me right as I walk in.

I smile softly and hold her in my arms. "How was your day dear?" Louis says, "Tiring" I reply, and give her a gentle kiss before letting go.

As I let go I see her eyes gleaming towards the clock, I knew what she was trying to say with her eyes and slowly put my hand in my pocket and grabbed something.

"You know, usually you get home an hour ago" she says softly, I nod "I had to get something before I got home" she looks at me, even though her eyes were covered by her bangs I could see her curious look.

"You thought I forgot didn't you?" I say as I pull out a small wooden box. Silently she nods, then I hand her the small box.

I watch as she slowly puts her fingers on the wooden lock and open up the small box. Inside is a small necklace, full of gems of her favorite colors.

"I..I" she can't even speak as she stares at the necklace, then soon rushes into my arms again. "Happy anniversary".
