(Steven's POV)

I was on my way home from my job, flying about in a plane all through the air. While making circles an such is fun it does get quite sweaty.

So my entire tank top an jacket is covered in sticky sweat that disgustingly glistens my body, an it didn't help that it was starting to pour so each step I took my boots would squeak an squish. The noises an smell made myself if not protected by my pocket pistol would of made myself vulnerable to Dopples.

The little over sized pests disquising as residence of this town, though I suppose my thoughts or anyone else's thoughts don't make the problem go away.

That's why the government made the DDD to kill the little bastards, an suppose some poem through the cracks an attack people like me, a couple years ago I had a dopple claw my eyes to the point I was blind for a Couple weeks.

The dopple ended up getting the taste of my gun in the end, an now my eyes are sensitive to bright lights. That's why I wear sunglasses alot, an to also hide the nasty scars over my eyes.

Eventually I make it to the apartments an the line was somewhat short,but after a couple moments of staring at the line I noticed who was in front of me.

The line was long as always, an I felt myself dozing off in line when I felt arms wrap around my waist an pull me back, I jump a bit but I calm down when I see who it was. "Oh, it's you" I pant as I felt my heart rummaging in my chest.

"Quite the jumper you know" Steven chuckles, an holds me in a big hug, practically picking me up from the floor an holding me bride style. I blush a bit as he holds me, "Please don't drop me" I mutter an he chuckle, "I'd never"

With on hand he hold me head close to him an gently out lips press together, in a soft gentle kiss.
