______________IVY____________————
Two weeks had past from the incident. Everything was basically back to normal except for the way I pictured my sister. She still thinks our relationship is the same but it isn't.

Two weeks. Two whole weeks and I still have this weird feeling from that day. Charlie and I still try to avoid each other but we are always catching each other staring. Classes together get more awkward by the second. This feeling is so confusing and it only happens with Charlie. Once Saturday came I decided to hang out with Cerise. As I was walking to her house I saw Charlie. She was outside this house knocking, but before she could turn I started to run for my life. I was not about to have another awkward moment.

Once I got to Cerise's house the feeling went away. Cerise could tell I looked nervous.

"What's up with you?"

She punched my arm and she laughed.

"I'm great."

I smiled and we walked into her house. We ran upstairs and she jumped onto her bed and I sat at her desk. I stared at her homework from a month ago, still unfinished.

"Really, Cerise? You couldn't do the Pythagorean Theorem? It's literally only a couple of letters to the 2nd power."

She smirked.

"It's not that I didn't know how, it's that I didn't want to."

Cerise winked and scrolled through her phone. Cerise and I talked for a few minutes. She told me about school and drama with our Math class. I had a fun time but I was getting tired so I decided to go home. Cerise and I ate a small snack and then she walked me to the door.

"Thank you for everything."

I said and we hugged goodbye.

"See you Monday!"

Cerise yelled and she slammed the door. I turned and started to walk towards the direction of my house. I saw Charlie and Kai walk out onto his porch. Kai looked really anxious and Charlie looked confused. Charlie's face immediately changed into utter shock. Kai pulled her close and they kissed. I was stunned. My body couldn't move and I didn't know how to react. But Charlie reacted first. She ran through the streets and to her house.

Kai looked really upset as he ran his fingers through his hair. He walked back inside, looking at the floor. I stood in that same spot for a moment. Suddenly, I heard Cerise's mom coming to the door.

"I'll be back!"

She yelled. I ran as fast as I could but I didn't even pay attention to which direction I was going. I ran out of breath and my legs began to hurt so I stopped on the curb in front of a green house. I sat down on the sidewalk and waited for my breath to come back. I heard the front door creek and footsteps coming towards me. I didn't really care until I heard a familiar voice.

"Ivy?"

Charlie tapped my shoulder. I jumped and stood up quickly.

"What are you doing here?"

She looked puzzled and I backed away. I don't know what I was doing at her house. I don't want her to know I ran over here. I ignored her and asked her my own question.

"So, are you and Kai a thing now?"

I asked her. I don't know why I did, but it came out of my mouth and I couldn't stop it.

"What? No! Yes? I dont know!"

She sat down on the curb and put her head on her knees.

"Why even ask that?"

She muffled.

"Um,"

I paused,

"I saw what happened."

She looked up at me snd sighed.

"You saw that?"

I nodded but instead of being upset, she looked angry.

"Why the hell are you stalking my house and stalking my friend's house?"

She lowered her eyebrows and waited for my response.

"I'm not stalking you, ok? You really think I wanna see you right now? Besides, is it really your 'friend's' house anyways. Might as well say boyfriend's."

I looked away from her because I still hated her.

"He is not my boyfriend. Why do you care so much?"

That question kind of stunned me. Why was I asking and why did it bother me? Maybe because I don't want my only enemy being happy. Maybe I'm worried for Kai, even though I don't like him. I'm worried he is stuck with someone like Charlie.

"You never answered my question."

Charlie said.

"Well, I don't care. Why are you talking to me anyways?"

I asked, trying to change the subject. She scoffed.

"Maybe because you are standing in front of my house?"

Charlie looked annoyed and she kept looking back at the door. She probably wants me to leave so she can go back inside. I forgot we were at her house and now I feel stupid.

"Crap."

I whispered, but I'm sure she heard.

"So? Why are you here?"

She tapped her foot on the pavement and stared at me.

"First of all, you don't own this neighborhood. Second, I didn't know it was your house. I was sitting on the curb facing away from it."

She looked confused but she shrugged.

"Well?"

Charlie stood up.

"Well, what?"

I was so confused and I really wanted to run. But, of course, I couldn't let her see that.

"Your house is somewhere that way and if you hate me so much, why are you still here?"

She pointed to the direction of my house and waited for me to walk there.

"Fine, I'll leave."

I started to walk away very slowly because if I walked any faster, I would've bolted away.

(I lied uhhh I'm doing more today forgot to put the amount of words- 965)
