We have been dating for two weeks. Charlie was scared that we would stop being friends. I was scared that she didn't feel the same way and we would be awkward forever. We have bonded more and we see each other after school almost everyday.
One day we were walking to school together, and we saw Ivy get out of her car. I was bothered that she was acting normal with her sister. Kai didn't know why, so he kept quiet. When Ivy saw us, she rolled her eyes and scoffed. I was confused as to why she even cared.
Charlie rolled her eyes back and we kept walking. A lot of people look at us when we walk through the halls. We're sure they figured us out. Didn't everyone expect this anyways? I don't think that people expected someone like Kai to be with someone quiet and unpopular like me. If anyone knows my name, it's because I'm Kai's best friend.
As we walked through the halls we came across Ivy. She walked in front of us really slowly then came to a stop. She turned to face us and smiled.
"Gosh, you guys are so annoying." (Maybe an owl house reference)
She laughed. Kai became really frustrated and I tried to calm him down.
"Excuse me? What's wrong with you?"
"Kai, you really couldn't do better than her?"
She shook her head and walked away. I was on my last nerve with that girl. Charlie just frowned and ignored her. I guess she is used to it. Charlie could tell I was tense and she convinced me everything is alright.
"It's okay. We can't let her be satisfied and think she is bothering us. Besides, we don't care about her. Let's show her that we don't."
"Ok."
We hugged and went to our classes.
(343 AH HAHA "erm ocean saga or whatever cuz it's stuck in my head" I'm not done for today and I probably have lied because I want to post the other part that I REALLY REALLY LIKE, also aren't they so totally cute the best trope is totally friends to lovers because that's totally the plot of this book *COUGH COUGH* anyways good Nighty to the people reading this at night or good morning to the people reading this in the morning-)
