_______________CHARLIE_________________
Debate was very chaotic. It started with the teacher calling me and Ivy up to the front of the class. "Class, settle down." When the room was quiet, Mrs. Henry continued. "I'm very sorry it took this long. However, I have decided the winners for the debate." Ivy gave me a look of victory. "Ivy, I loved your tone and your wording was outstanding!" Ivy smiled and gave me a nasty side eye. "However, Charlie's presentation really astonished me. Charlie you never disappoint. Because of the incident that happened, Ivy gets the extra credit, but Charlie wins the debate." Mrs. Henry smiled but Ivy's face was so red, I thought she was about to explode. And she did. "What?" She yelled. "Ivy-" I tried to calm her down but she snapped. "Heck no! Don't try to be all nice to me now! How could you take this from me! You jerk!" "Hey! I didn't take anything from you. What's your problem?" I snapped back. "The only problem I have is with you! You ruin everything and I hate you!" "Please calm down!" Mrs. Henry tried to separate us but Ivy kept yelling and I kept snapping. "That's enough!" Mrs. Henry yelled and the class got quiet. Before anything could happen, the bell rang. Ivy sprinted out of the class and everyone else did behind her. I stayed back. "I'm really sorry." I said. Mrs. Henry nodded, handed me a detention slip, and I left. Kai was waiting for me outside the door and he could tell I was upset. "What's wrong?" He asked. I handed him my slip and he sighed. "It's okay." He said. He gave me a short hug and we started to walk to the cafeteria. Before we could get there, Ivy came up to us. "Thanks a lot, Charlie." She said. "Ivy, you got the extra credit. What else do you want from me?" "I want for you to get out of my way. Stop trying to beat me and stop going near me!" I was so done with her and I couldn't take anymore stress. I punched her and her nose immediately started to bleed. Her eyes went wide and she gasped, trying to catch the blood that was dripping everywhere. Kai moved away from me and his jaw dropped. "Charlie!" He exclaimed.  "Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry, Ivy! I didn't mean to." I truly felt sorry. I really didn't mean to. I was just so sick of Ivy being a jerk. Ivy looked furious and she ignored my apology. She pushed me to the ground and I hit my face on the water fountain. Kai yelled at Ivy and she punched him so hard he slammed against a locker. Kai held his head and winced in pain. I stood up and punched her in the stomach. By now, we had formed a crowd. I couldn't feel the gash that formed on my lip. She hit the side of my head and I kicked her. Kai had some blood on his hands and I'm sure he got a concussion. Ivy's mouth and chin was covered in blood and my lip started to sting, but I ignored it and kept fighting. Eventually she tackled me and we both fell to the ground. Kai finally got up and he tried to break us up. He grabbed my arm and grabbed Ivy's hoodie but she pulled away and used her free arm to punch him. All three of us were a bloody mess but that didn't stop any of us. I had blood on my white shirt, but I can't tell if all of it was mine. We wrestled and Kai tried his best to separate us. This went on for a while before three teachers had to pull us apart. When I looked around it seemed unreal. Ivy was breathing really hard and her entire face was covered from her bloody nose. Her arm had already formed a bruise. Small cuts were on her neck. I turned to Kai. A teacher had to help him stand because he was really dizzy from his concussion. He looked like he was about to throw up. He had a huge cut on his forehead and he started to get a black eye. I gently touched my lip and the tip of my finger had turned red. We were a mess. All three of us were taken to the nurse's office and we waited there in silence. Kai threw up a couple times and Ivy's nose wouldn't stop bleeding. The nurse was so stressed trying to figure out what to do with us. After an hour, our parents and siblings came to pick us up. Antonio was very disappointed in me and he didn't talk the whole ride home. I was suspended for four weeks, Kai wasn't suspended since he didn't fight, and Ivy was suspended for four weeks too. Ever since Ivy and I met, my life has gone downhill. I hope I never speak to Ivy again.
