It's been two months since me and Paige have made thins official and god it feels great. I friend I grew up with is coming to see me today and ugh she's such a gem . Kate Martin . She plays in the league to . She's the one who inspired me into the career I want to do .
"Hey hey hey" I hear my dorm unlock I see her . "Your here I thought you said two more hours?!" I jump on her excitement. "God I missed you" she says into my neck and spins me around . "Uhmhum" I hear she places me down . "Paige this is Kate Martin my sand box baby" she exchanged looks .
"Hi I'm her girlfriend" Paige sticks her hand out "I'm Kate." They shake hands "okay..Ima go because geno needs me to lead today but please text me if anything" she grabs my face I smile and nod "I love you" I say as I look at her . Her blue eyes dilate . " you're so lucky ...I love you more" she kisses me and grabs her keys and leaves bumping into Kate .
"I don't think your girlfriend likes me" Kate huffs out "she's like that at first" we sit and talk and catch up . "There's this hosting event that I want you to go with me tonight" she says as she sits straight. "Really isn't that only for plays offs" she shrugs "well it's more celebration of the season and I need a plus one" I roll my eyes "I'll ask Paige and see if it's okay" .
She huffs "if she's trusted you she wouldn't care" I still text her and she said she didn't feel right about me going alone but if I wanted to that I could . "Yes it is because we have command respect for each other" I say . "So you're coming" I contemplated . I breathe in . "Only for an hour" she smiles "fuck yeah baby let's go" I roll my eyes and hop in the shower and set my hair in light curls "we have thirty minutes Lily" Kate yells out . "Ima girl shut up" I do my make up and put a dress and heels on.
I open my jewelry box and see the ring that Caitlin gave me four months ago. I brush it off and put on some necklaces and bracelets. "Okay I'm ready" I walk out and Kate looks at me "wow" is all she says I smile "I know I'm hot" she rolls her eyes "I can't wait to show you off" she says "as your friend stupid" I say "of course" she says deviously.
