17- NIGHTMARE

The day has finally come. I wake up early sweating and stressing. I have a massive headache. I quickly take something before it gets worst. Pansy wakes up as I come back to my bed. "What's the time?" She asks. I check, "5:12." I say. "I can't sleep, I'm so nervous." I say and She pats the bed next to her, I join her. She hugs me and tells me, "It'll be over so soon, you will be ok, you will do what you have to and then once its done you 3 will come join us." She says still hugging me. I hug her back and eventually I fall asleep with her.

I wake up again but this time at 7:00. I wake Pansy up and we both get changed silently. We go down together meeting the other for breakfast. We all try and eat, silently. Everyone is nervous. I look around at the other students and teachers going about their day not knowing what's going to happen in a few hours.

After we eat we all go back in Draco and Enzos room, Luna now joins us. Enzo told her what was happing just after break fast. She still looks so shocked and confused. All the other students skip but we hide out, waiting.

"Its nearly time." I say as I check the time. "Ok let's go." We stand in a circle holding each other hands Draco says, "Apparate." And then we land at the entrance of the Malfoy mansion. He takes us all inside giving a little tour and then shows Pansy, Enzo, Luna and Theo where they can wait and hang. "I don't what you guys to leave." Pansy looks at us worried and scarred. She bursts into tears and Draco goes to hug her.

Eventually we all say our goodbyes. I hug each of them tightly before we go as this could be my last time seeing them. Pansy doesn't let me go but I eventually pull her away and kiss her fore head.

Again we hold hands only is 3 of us now. "Apparate." Draco yells out and we arrive back in his room. We stand there quietly. "We need to do whatever we've got to do, don't think too much just get it over with." Matteo looks at us all with a stern look on his face. "I'm ready." I say strongly. "Me too." Draco says. "Ok let's go, remember what we've planned." Matteo says and we follow him out. Most students are in their classes still having no idea what their about to be apart of. I feel awful.

We go to the room of requirements and to the lonely cabinet that awaits us. I point my wand. "Now!" Matteo shouts. I cast them spell and Draco opens the door. My mother is the first to come through. Her wild her out and a crazy smile on her face. "It's time!" She calls out, she comes to me and hugs me.

Others come through the door with Voldermort the last. He talks to us quickly before everyone goes to their set places. We've got to do this quickly as people will start finding out. Draco follows Voldermort and his parents. I follow my mother with Matteo behind me.

Soon enough the whole school is aware. I watch from where I stand people running around and other fighting. I stand still waiting. "Come on its our turn." My mothers says running to the crowd with an evil laugh. Matteo and I look at each other he kisses my hand and we head off. I stand tall and prepare myself to fight.

There's so many people running and screaming. Spells blast in every direction. I finally finish Comric who came at me. I step over his body running to shelter. I take a few deep breaths and see Hermione opposite me hiding as well. We both stare at each other scared. I slowly get up and she does to. "I don't want to fight you." I saying stepping back. She slowly walks the opposite way.

Eventually the fighting dies down a little as people are ether dead or hiding. Voldermort comes back down with Draco by his side. Everyone stops and watches him walk past. He goes to an open slab of concrete. Some of the death eaters who aren't in a fight follow him. "Enough fighting!" Voldermort shouts. People eventually form in groups around him and others run away. Death eaters one side and the school the other. The teacher stand infront of the children guarding them.

Matteo comes out of a burning building and I run to him. His face is covered in blood. I hug him and he hugs me back. "Come on." I follow him and we make our way out to the open. Some eyes follow us. Voldermort turns around to see us coming. "Ahh, ladies and gentlemen can we all thank these two for getting us into Hogwarts. They have been working very hard these past few weeks." He grabs me and Matteo and puts his arms around our shoulders, Matteo and I on ether side of him.

All the students and teachers stare at us in shock and hatred. "Draco come here." Voldermort points to Draco who stands with his parents. He looks so pale and sick. He joins us and Voldermort shouts, "And Draco here is the one who killed your lovely Professor Dumbledore." A few gasps and cry's come from the students and teachers. Draco stands next to me. Voldermort laughs an evil laugh sending chills down my spine.

"Now I've come to fight the famous boy who lived, Harry Potter." Voldermort shouts and points his wand at Harry who stands with his two friends at the front of the group. I watch them try pull him back but he fights them off and walks over to Voldermort. Matteo, Draco and I quickly go over to our group. I try find my mother but I can't see her over the group of people. I worry.

Harry and Voldermort then fight. I look away a few times. Some of the other death eaters run of to fight again but I stay back with Matteo and Draco watching. Silently praying and hoping Harry wins.

The fight lasts a while with others fighting around them. No one comes to fight us so we stay. Eventually Harry casts a strong spell that knock Voldermort to the ground and kills him. It's like the whole world stops spinning. Everyone stops what their doing and watch. I hear a scream. My mother. She runs towards Harry and points her wand casting spells to him, but Harry's to fast and strong and hits her right in the heart with a power spell.

She falls to the ground next to Voldermort. It feels like I scream out and run towards her in slow Mo. The whole world stops and I drop down. "Nooooo!" I grab her face with my hands. "Wake up Mother please!" I cry and shout. Matteo runs down next to me. "She's dead!" I scream. Kneeling down I rest my head on her stomach crying.

Matteo holds me. I feel his body shaking. He Cries too. Most of the death eaters have left fleeing before they get caught. Most of the students and teachers have left others morn the lost of their loved ones.

I stay with her for 20 minutes and eventually Matteo tells me we have to go. I shake my head not wanting to leave her. Even though she was evil and wasn't the best mother she was still my mother and I loved her and I know she loved me too.

Matteo pulls me up after I kiss her cheek. He carry's me in his arms as we walk through the destroyed and burning buildings. A few people stand back as we walk pass and I see lots of dead people covered in blood. Some people are beside them crying.

I don't remember coming back to Draco's house but I awake in a bed with Matteo by my side sleeping. I check the time to see it's night time. I've been asleep for a while. I get up to go to the bathroom. My body aches as I move. As I look in the mirror I see lots of cuts and bruises on my face. Matteo must of wiped the blood of for me.

When I finish I wash my arms and see that my death eater mark is gone. I glide my hand over it in shock.

I stare at myself in the mirror not noticing the girl who stares back at me. Flash backs of me fighting and killing people flash through my head. And my mothers bloody face. I feel sick. I vomit in the toilet.

I rinse out my mouth and put cold water over my face. A few minutes pass and then I make my way back to bed. I cuddle up to Matteo and wait for sleep to take me away from the nightmare I face.
