I'm in the kitchen, arranging plates for tonight's gathering, the scent of my grandmother's cooking filling the air. She walks in, her eyes twinkling with anticipation.

"Rosaline, darling," she says, a hint of urgency in her tone. "Can you run to the bakery and grab some baklava? We need it for tonight's celebration!".

I nod eagerly, excitement bubbling inside me.

"Absolutely, Grandma! I'll be back in no time!" I rush to grab my bag, the thought of sweet pastries spurring me on.

As I step outside, the lively sounds of the neighborhood greet me. Laughter and chatter fill the streets, families enjoying the evening together.

I smile at familiar faces, their warmth making me feel connected. With each step, I can't help but feel a flutter of joy.

When I reach the bakery, the enticing aroma of freshly baked goods wraps around me like a warm hug. I walk inside, my mouth watering at the sight of colorful pastries displayed neatly on the counter.

"I'll have a dozen baklava, please!" I say to the clerk, my eyes gleaming with anticipation.

As I wait, a soft bell chimes, and I turn my head to see a tall, imposing figure enter the shop. a man He strides in confidently, his presence commanding instant attention. My heart races as I watch him approach the counter, his demeanor cool and indifferent.

He stepped up to the counter, ordered his items, and barely acknowledged anyone with a glance. Feeling bold, so i decided to break the ice.

"Hi! Have you tried the baklava here? It's the best!" i chirped.

He looked at me, his expression unfazed. "No," was all he said, his tone lacking warmth.

Undeterred, i pressed on, "What's your name?"

"Why do you care?" he shot back, annoyance creeping into his voice.

"Because everyone deserves a friend!" i replied, my bubbly personality shining through.
