I stirred awake, my body slowly stretching under the soft warmth of my blankets. As i blinked the sleep from my eyes, the first thing i noticed was the delicate scent of roses filling the room. My gaze fell on the bouquet of vibrant red roses resting elegantly on my bedside table.

They were from Luciano, handed to me as we left the restaurant. It was such a formal gesture, but i couldn't help but feel a strange pull in my chest whenever i looked at them. The flowers were beautiful, yet the man who gave them to me remained an enigma, cold and distant.

I sighed, My thoughts tangled in the web of the upcoming wedding. Everything was happening so fast, and although I had agreed to it, the reality was starting to sink in. Swinging me legs out of bed, i padded across the floor to my bathroom.

The soft patter of water filled the room as i brushed my teeth, staring at my reflection. My face showed no signs of the anxiety swirling in my mind—just the same bright, bubbly girl i always was. But underneath that smile, a part of me still wondered what my future with Luciano would truly be like.

After brushing my teeth, i hopped into the shower, letting the warm water wash away the morning haze. The heat soothed my muscles, helping me focus on the day ahead.

Today wasn't about worrying—it was about wedding preparations, and that meant spending time with my future in-laws. The thought made my heart race a little. Luciano's family was much more intimidating than i was used to, especially his mother, but i reminded myself to smile and be myself.

Once out of the shower, I slipped into a soft, oversized hoodie and a pair of cozy sweatpants. My damp hair fell over my back, but i'd deal with that later. I wasn't in any rush. Instead, i took my time, enjoying the calm morning as i made my way downstairs to the kitchen.

The smell of breakfast greeted me immediately—something warm and comforting. My grandma was already bustling about, preparing a spread of eggs, toast, and pancakes. I smiled at the sight, my heart swelling with affection.
