I jolted awake, grinning to myself as excitement buzzed through me. Today was amusement park day, and I could barely contain myself. Without wasting a second, I leaned over and shook Luciano awake.

"Come on, wake up! We're going to the amusement park!" I whispered eagerly. He grumbled, burying his face even deeper into the pillow.

His reaction only made me giggle harder, which was probably unfair. I knew he wasn't a morning person, but I was too excited to care. I bounced out of bed and slipped into the bathroom to get ready.

I decided on a white, fitted crop top with short sleeves—a little more coverage, which I thought would be best since I'd be in the sun all day—and paired it with my favorite low-rise, loose-fitting jeans.

I fastened a white belt with shiny silver accents around my waist, giving it a bit of contrast and drawing attention to my midriff, which made the look feel complete. I decided on a sleek hairstyle—a low ponytail with two small braids woven into it.

I added a soft white ribbon where the ponytail started, tying it neatly and securing the ends of the braids, keeping everything clean and polished.

After a quick swipe of lip balm, I stepped out of the bathroom and, of course, found Luciano still completely asleep, sprawled out and lost in his own little world. I crossed my arms, feeling my impatience build, and shook his shoulder.

"Come on, wake up, dude!"

He groaned, just barely lifting his head to mumble, "Don't call me dude."

I tried to hide a laugh. "Then wake up, bro. I'll pick out your outfit while you get your butt into the bathroom." I wasn't letting him get out of this one.

With another grunt, he finally sat up, stretching and giving me a look that was both groggy and a little exasperated. But he didn't protest. He just stumbled toward the bathroom, while I sifted through his clothes, carefully picking out something I thought he'd look good in but that would also be comfortable for a long day out.
