if you can't do it/press it here is a summary! A therian is an individual who identifies as a non-human animal to some degree. We know we have human bodies and brains, we just believe (and there are many different reasons why) that we aren't quite human on the inside (metaphorically). Some view it as a spiritual experience, some see it as more psychological. It is an intrinsic involuntary identity, like your sexuality or gender. You don't become a therian, you either are or you aren't.
