ALANA'S POV

"So, sino nanalo sa basketball game nila?" the girls ask with excitement as we leave the classroom. "Hulaan ko, team ni Miks?" One of them guesses, and I nod.

"Hays, di namin naabutan sayang." they groan in frustration. "Message mo kami next time na maglalaro ulit sila."

Grabe naman 'tong mga 'to, may bayad yon syempre. Pagkain ganun hehe.

"Anyway, una na kami ah!" They wave while we part ways at the end of the hallway.

"Bye! Wag mo kakalimutan na sabihan kami ah!"

"Goodbye—" 

Wait... Si Miks ba yun?

I quickly find a tree to hide behind. She's talking to someone, and oh, of course, si Judy nanaman. This reminds me so much of the first time I stalked them, but this time I'm farther away.

Like every other time I see them together, there's a bright smile on their faces. The way Judy girlishly tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and gently nudges Mikaela's arm—yeah, she's clearly into her. Saya siguro ni Miks.

Pero masaya ba ako para sakanya? Hindi ko rin alam, nakakalito na.

"Huy!"

"Huy, Alana!" I hear a voice faintly calling my name. "Bingi ka ba?"

"Miks?" I pull out my earbuds and stop walking. "Sorry, hindi kita narinig."

"Sabay tayo sa papunta sa dorm, neighbor!" Her grin is wide, almost blinding.

"Bakit ang saya saya mo?"

"Kasi may kasama na ako pauwi," She glances at me, and I see my reflection in her eyes. Sinungaling—masaya ka lang dahil kay Judy eh.

"Mukhang close na close na kayong dalawa ah." I say, testing the waters.

"Ang random mo naman, pero, yeah, thanks to you." She chuckles.

"No problem." We continue side by side. "You should ask her out on a date na,"

"Hindi ko pa nga yan naiisip eh, hindi ko alam if she'll say yes to that."

"Ate, please, sure naman akong mag-oo sayo yun," Just look at the way Judy flirts with her.

"Be confident and straightforward." I shrug.

"Alright, I trust you." And may tiwala rin ako kay google.

3RD PERSON

"Akin na yung remote!" Stella fights with Jo on the sofa, but Jo's strength is unmatched.

"Nood tayo Queen of Tears!" Jo shouts.

"Movie night, beh, hindi k-drama night." Cole protests, jumping into the fight for the remote.
