ALANA'S POV

"Amalia! Buti nakarating kayo!" I guess this girl who greets us must be Amalia's friend, and I'm guessing she's the one who planned this party. "Come on in, guys, we have a table for you."

This house is massive, and the living room feels like it's been transformed into a nightclub. Neon lights pulse around the room, and music booms from the speakers. I can see familiar faces on the dance floor—students from our school.

"Cole, papatayin tayo ng magulang ko if nalaman nila na pumunta tayo dito."" I mutter to Cole  as we walk further in.

"Shh," she playfully hushes me with a grin. "Hindi yan,"

"Here's your table," the girl says, leading us to a booth. BINI nods in acknowledgment, scanning the place. Everyone looks chill—except Mikaela. She looks like she's already done with this night before it's even started.

We all find our spots around the table, and I purposely sit as far away from Mikaela as possible to avoid any unnecessary heart palpitations.

"Jo, that girl across the room is winking at you!" Cole teases.

Jo gives Cole a disgusted look, then glares at the girl. Lol, the expression on that girl's face when Jo rejects her is priceless.

"Wait, Asan si Sienna?" Jo asks, looking around.

Biglang man siya nawala, bai.

"Let's go party, dance up!" someone shouts. All heads turn to the dance floor, where Sienna's already living it up. Not long after, Malia joins her. These girls sure know how to have fun.

But then, the worst happens.

"Oh, Miks? Hindi ko alam na pupunta ka pala dito!" a voice squeals, and my heart drops.

Pinagttripan mo ba ako, Lord?

3RD PERSON

"Judy?" Mikaela blinks, trying to hide her surprise. "Hi."

"Oh, I guess aalis na kami," Amalia says with an overly playful tone. "Tara na, Uyab."

"Have fun, Miks!" Cole waves, already smirking as she drags Amalia away.

"Eh kayong dalawa? Hindi ba kayo aalis?" Cole calls back to Jo and Alana, who are still seated.

"Hindi," Alana snaps, glaring. "Bakit naman kami aalis?"

"Same," Jo adds, sounding amused. "I think it's interesting here."

"Alright then," Cole shrugs, and she and Amalia disappear into the crowd.

"I'm so glad to see you here~," Judy gushes, and Alana rolls her eyes, feeling a wave of irritation at her overly sweet tone.

"Masasabi mo pa bang hindi mo gusto si Miks?" Jo teases Alana, who groans in frustration.
