3RD PERSON
"Asan ka na.." Alana pouts as her eyes scan the street for any sign of her girlfriend. Sadly, there isn't.
Alana dolled herself up today in a designer dress, heels, simple accessories, and even makeup because tonight's dinner isn't just any ordinary dinner—it's a celebration of their three-year anniversary.
She sighs again, wondering if Mikaela stood her up. Or maybe Mikaela has some business to attend to and had to stay overtime for the sake of the company. Alana continues waiting in front of the high-end restaurant that Mikaela had already made a reservation for.
Cautiously approaching from behind, Mikaela gently wraps her arms around Alana's waist, instantly brightening the redness scattering across Alana's rosy cheeks.
"I'm sooooo sorry~" Mikaela whispers, purposely speaking close against the curve of Alana's neck before placing a soft peck on it. "Ang lala talaga nung traffic!"
It's unbelievable how, even after all this time together, Mikaela still has this effect on Alana, as if it were their first day. Everything Mikaela does—every small action or gesture—has an impact on Alana. Mikaela is Alana's weakness. Her heart is weak and vulnerable to Mikaela.
"Okay lang," Alana replies.
Mikaela steps back, her arms leaving Alana's waist, and smiles, briefly glancing at Alana's outfit. Mikaela's smile naturally widens at seeing Alana's effort to look great for their dinner, knowing it must mean just as much to her as it does to Mikaela.
"Oww..." Mikaela grimaces, holding her heart dramatically.
"Ha? Okay ka lang?" Alana quickly turns around, concern written all over her face.
"No... ang ganda mo kasi, hindi ko kinaya." Mikaela teases, continuing her playful act.
"Gosh!" Alana nudges Mikaela's shoulder, her face glowing crimson red. "Wag ka nga magbiro ng ganyan!"
Alana gives her a look but then notices something else. Mikaela is dressed in something formal, and although Alana doesn't know if it's designer, it looks expensive and luxurious. It suits her so well that Mikaela looks more like a celebrity than the lazy girlfriend Alana usually knows.
"And you look really pretty... and handsome, like always." Alana sincerely compliments her.
Instead of thanking her with words, Mikaela has her own way of expressing gratitude. She leans in and pecks Alana's lips like it's the most normal thing to do. "Tara? Pasok na tayo!"

"Happy three years!" They clink their glasses of whiskey together before taking small sips of their drinks.
They're in their private room at the restaurant now, the space decorated with roses and dimmed lights, creating a romantic atmosphere.
"Ang bilis talaga ng oras," Mikaela comments as she cuts into her steak with a fork and knife.
"Yeah." Alana chuckles, twirling the spaghetti around her fork. "But really... thank you for giving me all those memories. My life would've been boring and meaningless if I hadn't met you."
