Han Jisung could hardly believe it when he saw his name on the cast list. Lead role. His heart skipped a beat. The upcoming school musical was going to be huge. It was something the whole drama department was buzzing about. Landing the lead was huge. But what made Jisung's pulse race wasn't just the fact that he'd be carrying the production, it was the name listed beside his.

Lee Felix. His love interest. The guy he had to kiss on stage.

Felix, with his tousled blonde hair, effortless smile, and eyes that seemed to see right through Jisung whenever he glanced his way. Jisung had been harboring a quiet crush on him for months, but he'd never imagined anything would happen. He was far too shy, and Felix? He was the definition of unattainable, outgoing, flirtatious, and surrounded by admirers. Jisung wasn't even sure Felix knew his name.

That was, until now.

Rehearsals began in earnest, and the tension in Jisung's chest tightened with every passing day. He tried to focus on the music, the lines, and the choreography, but it was impossible not to feel Felix's presence whenever they shared a scene. Felix had a habit of standing just a little too close, brushing their shoulders when it wasn't scripted, or flashing him that disarming grin right before a crucial line.

During the first week, it was innocent enough. Felix was being friendly, Jisung told himself. He was probably like this with everyone. But as the days wore on, Jisung started to wonder. Felix's teasing wasn't the same with other cast members. When they practiced the ballroom dance number, Felix held Jisung's waist just a bit longer than necessary. He would wink at him during breaks, and his flirtatious 'jokes' left Jisung blushing furiously.

"Hey, lead man," Felix greeted him one afternoon after rehearsal, his voice dripping with playful affection. "How's it feel to be the star of the show?"

Jisung fumbled with his script, not trusting himself to look up. "I-it's fine. Just... a lot of pressure, you know?"

Felix chuckled, stepping into Jisung's personal space like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Don't worry. I've got your back. Especially when it comes to... the kissing scene."

Jisung felt his face heat up instantly. "I...uh-w-we're not even there yet," he stammered, his voice shaky.

Felix raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Nervous?"

Jisung swallowed hard. Nervous didn't even begin to describe it. The thought of kissing Felix, even if it was just for the play, made his heart race and his stomach twist. And Felix's relentless teasing wasn't helping.

"Relax, Jisung," Felix said softly, his voice taking on a more serious tone as he noticed the genuine anxiety in Jisung's eyes. "It's just acting. We'll get through it."

Jisung nodded quickly, his eyes glued to his feet. "Y-yeah, just acting."

But it didn't feel like just acting to Jisung. The more time he spent with Felix, the harder it became to separate his growing feelings from the characters they were portraying. And Felix's constant flirting only added fuel to the fire. Was he messing with him? Was this just Felix being Felix, or was there something more?

The night before their first full run-through of the show, Jisung lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. His lines were memorized, his blocking solid. But he couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. It was the final scene, the big romantic climax of the play, and he knew it would either make or break the entire production.
