Somebody tick getting drunk off my to do list. It had already been a week and i had taken different kinds of alcohol I promised myself I wouldn't. Jarrell and I had quickly become close, well mostly because he made amazing cocktails that i had been hooked on all week. I had attended most of my early morning lectures with a terrible hangover and had been ecstatic when the weekend finally came.

Liberty had a photoshoot today and had insisted on me going with her. She was going to be in a skincare magazine mainly for people with albinism and a new clothing line.

I watched her being prepped in the dressing room, it felt like a thousand hands waved around her body; two hands in her hair, two fitting her into her fits, another applying her makeup. That felt like a lot of physical contact which would have definitely made me uncomfortable.

Liberty was helped onto the platform where the photos were going to be taken. She was starting with the clothing line. I watched her pose so effortlessly and admired her silently. She occasionally asked to see the pictures then decided to do more poses incase she didn't find them as captivating as she wanted.

She was always so impressive and strived for perfection.

"Okay, let's do a few more with you seated." The photographer said, motioning two assistants to help her move carefully

Liberty changed into five different outfits before they started on the skincare segment.

These were mostly pictures of her face and hands with the products. She looked so perfect in the photos, the light struck her sharp features in all the right angles. Her skin glistened impeccably with the colors on the makeup palette that matched her skin tone all too well in every snap.

"...and we're done!" The photographer announced after the last clicks on his camera. "Good job everyone, Libby you did great!" He gestured with his fingers as everybody clapped loudly congratulating themselves on the work done.

"Aww you're so kind, Clarke." She smiled before turning to me, holding her hands out and making a mini run to where I stood. "I'm so happy you came with me!" She hugged me with a laugh

"You look so perfect!" I pointed at the photos that were displayed on the big screen.

"Thank you. I always get nervous  during the shoot by the way." She bit her nails

"You're kidding, you do it so effortlessly! You were like..." i spoke imitating her poses dramatically as nudged me softly with a laugh.

Liberty led me back to the dressing area where they had to take her makeup off. She sat in her chair and was embraced by the thousand hands again.

"Oh my God Libby, you didn't tell me your sister was so pretty." The lady taking off her makeup complimented with a smile "I love your hair, especially the white." She added with a gesture, meaning the white fringe at the side of my face.

"Thank you." I appreciated feeling overwhelmed. I didn't expect anyone to think i was beautiful given the way i was treated in high school. They were just brats, I guess.

"Yes, she is." Liberty held my hand with a smile as her face was wiped clean.

I stared at the skincare products that were being applied on my sister after she had washed her face. Her skin was super sensitive and needed all the care it could get so it didn't break or peel.

"Here you should try this as well." Liberty handed me a cutely shaped bottle of sunscreen. I slowly unscrewed the lid then turned to the mirror to apply the product on my face. It felt refreshingly cold and smelt of peaches as i rubbed it into my skin.
