Russian's POV.

I was expecting Aiden but I didn't think he would come so soon. He was standing at the door with his hands hidden inside his pockets as usual. He had a wild night while getting rid of the five bodies of my victims. The visible crease on his face disappeared the moment he walked in and saw Versaï seated in the kitchen in nothing but my shirt, staring at us.

"You didn't tell me you had company," he smiled. Aiden didn't wait for what I had to say, he made haste over to where Versaï sat "You must be Miss Paris, I've heard so much about you." He took her hand in both of his.

"Um...its nice to meet you," she glanced at me then back at him with an awkward smile "I feel like I know you," she added

"No, you don't but we will get to know each other." Aiden replied still holding her hand delightedly.

"That will be another day, right now we need to talk." I stood behind him, my hand placed on his shoulder. He could tell her how obsessed I am with her another time. "We'll be right back," I planted a little kiss on Versaï's forehead then left to my study with Aiden.

He still had a smirk on his face when we got to my office. I knew he wanted to make jokes and throw banters at me but he didn't.

"Do you think she'll snoop?" He asked instead, listening for her footsteps or heartbeat at the door.

"Honestly, I wouldn't blame her if she did." I told him, pulling a shirt over my head. A lot had happened for her the past few days and I was surprised she was this calm.

"Has she asked you any questions about everything?"

"Not yet but we'll talk later. First, tell me how everything went,"

"Well, you're in some kind of luck. None of the boys are from this neighborhood or anywhere close so it will take some time before someone noticed they're missing." We sat down opposite each other. "I'm proud of you though," Aiden added, crossing his leg over the other when he sat down. I frowned at him wondering what he meant. "You've only had 7 murders over the past few days compared to the killing streak you used to have. Oh, plus the two attacks on her friend and classmate,"

He was right, I hadn't even noticed how less murderous I was now. I'm sure when he found out I was feeding again, he thought I would have a chain of nonstop murders going on.

During a time in the past, I went on a killing spree and Aiden had to follow me around the city, picking up dead bodies everywhere I went. Now however, I felt like I had something to lose, someone rather. I didn't want Versaï to think I was a monster- it was going to be difficult to stop feeding on humans immediately, it had taken me a decade the first time but for her, I would make sure to do whatever i could.

"I have to find a way to stop again because if I'm not careful, i will hurt Versaï and I would never forgive myself." I said more to myself than to Aiden.

"You have to let her know what she's getting into, from the start." Aiden advised, i nodded slowly in agreement. "I'm a little worried about the other vampires finding out about this, especially Viviane Gold who seems quite obsessed with awakening your bloodlust,"

"I need to be more careful," I sighed, running my hand over my face "Things wouldn't be good for me if she found out i was feeding again,"

Viviane and I had the biggest bloodlust back in the day, she was lucky though because could restrain herself from killing her victims. We always went on feeding streaks together but when i revealed that I was rehabilitating myself, she got furious- trying every way she could to get me to feed again. She and I eventually grew distant after that.
