Versaï's POV.

Thank God for the storm, I sat nestled on the couch next to Liberty eating chips as we watched a rom com series. We laughed and munched throughout the day and i was slightly able to forget the fact that my Professor was a VAMPIRE!!

I unconsciously touched my neck to feel where a huge bite wound should have been. He had literally bitten into my soul, nearly draining me of life and yet there was nothing to show of it. How was that possible?

There so many questions i wanted to ask him but i didn't think i would be seeing him again but i knew his secret, what if he came back to finish me so that i wouldn't expose him? I wasn't safe yet, death was still lurking around the corner for me.

The wind outside started waving the curtains through the open windows violently, the storm had finally arrived to Triton.

"Oh shit, i have to bring the car in!" Liberty jumped from the sofa

"What?" I snapped my head towards her from my train of thought.

"I need to bring the car into the underground parking lot, I left it outside the front," she repeated, shrugging into her jacket. I got up as well to follow her making her frown at me inquisitively

"I'm coming with," i told her

"Driving a car isn't a two person job, Versie." She waved her palm, letting it hit lightly on her thigh.

"I know, i just want to come with." I insisted. There were vampires out there, who know what more scary creatures existed, right now we weren't safe at all so we had to be together!

"When did you get so clingy?" Her face scrunched up in wonder and I shrugged. There so many things i would like to tell her but she wouldn't believe me. "Fine, just go change your shirt. I don't what that is, is that blood?" She squinted her eyes at me, pointing at my shirt.

I grabbed it from the neck to look at it, there were a few stains of blood around the collar and i instantly knew, i did bleed last night. Russian Tribbiani had bitten me and drank my blood. He had wiped all the evidence but forgot this one.

"Uh, I think it's ketchup." I retreated to my room to get a change of clothing. I threw on a hoodie and came back out.

Liberty and I walked to the elevator and descended to the ground floor that led to the front parking lot. Most of our neighbors were driving their cars to the inside lot as well.

"Oh by the way, i was thinking you should start taking driving lessons next week." Liberty told me as she started the cad

"Yeah. That would be great but I'd miss Jarrell dropping me off to uni." I said nonchalantly but my sister gave me a dirty smile.
"Oh my God Liberty!!" I rolled my eyes at her as she laughed

"I knew you liked him a little bit," she said as we drove into the shaded parking lot underneath out apartment building.

"I do not like him," I defended myself.

Liberty kept laughing but i was suddenly tense. I recognized Russian's car as we drove past it and my gaze lingered on it. There was a man standing next to it when we got out of our car, he was tall and dark skinned clad in a prestigious suit. He, as if noticing that i was staring at him, looked back at me and i jumped in my skin.

I knew him from somewhere but my mind was too nervous to remember. I quickly turned to join Liberty who was almost at the elevator. I looked back once to see if he was still there, he had entered Russian's car and drove it away swiftly.

"What's up with you? You look like you've seen a ghost," Libby stared at me concernedly as we headed up

"I'm just cold, thats all." I hugged myself to make it more believable. Liberty wrapped her arms around me to warm me up and i could feel my nerves calming slowly as we ascended the floors.
