Versaï's POV.

I sat quietly after we drove past Professor Tribbiani's car. I couldn't seem to forget the way he looked at me as our cars crossed paths. Why had he smiled like that?

I craned my neck slowly to check if Liberty had noticed that teasing display, but she hadn't. I sighed back as relief washed through me because my sister would never let me hear the end of it. I didn't even know why I was so afraid of telling her about my mini crush on my Professor. Liberty was the most open minded person, not to mention she was crazy so obviously something like that would excite her but nonetheless,  i was hesitant.

A portion of me knew that if i did in-fact tell her about my Professor, she would encourage me to go after him of which I couldn't. I literally had no game, i had never even been in the game for god's sake so it would be like giving a piece of meat to a person with no teeth.

I decided to keep this information to my self, reliving every moment of it. How i had tripped on god knows what and fell! Well, almost fell. I still can't believe he actually caught me and held me!! Oh! how his voice sounded so seductive every time he mentioned my name.

'Careful Miss Paris."  He had said after catching me and i swear i almost blacked out.

There was a strange way his face had darkened as he held me completely sending shivers down my spine. I was supposed to be afraid of him, he was an older man who seemed to have a dark aura around his head but i couldn't stop thinking about him and what could have happened in that moment.

It was always Miss Paris this, Miss Paris that with him. How was i going to survive this man when i was stuck as his little class assistant? I leaned my elbow where the window was rolled down, placing my head on my folded palm as the road blurred.

Wednesday came earlier than expected and as the class coordinator, i had to be there early. I jumped out of bed rushing to get ready for my day. I wondered what the Professor and I would do today- in a professional way guys, no overthinking.

I double checked my outfit in the mirror before getting out of my room.

"Liberty!!" I called out when I didn't see her in the kitchen as always. I hurried to her room, knocked then twisted the door knob open when she didn't respond. Where the fuck was she? She was my ride to school.

Her phone rang thrice before she picked up.

"Liberty, where the hell are you?!"

"Oh my god Versaï, I'm so sorry!!I wasn't able to make it back home." Her voice was hoarse like she had been screaming all night.

What time did she even leave last night? We were literally awake until midnight and went to bed after. I guess she had been invited to some late party in her elite social group.

"How am I going to get to uni?" I cried out throwing my head back in agony.

"Jarrell can take you. He's always free in the morning," she suggested, loudly falling back on her pillow on the other side of the phone.

"Nooooooooo!" I whined. I had really become whiny after living in the same space with Liberty and it wasn't even that long. "You know how i get around people i don't know!"

"Oh come on baby girl, you and Jarrell have literally passed out on the couch together, there's nothing worse than that," she said and i quickly remembered how disoriented we looked when we both woke up on the same couch after some long Saturday night rager.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes "But you have to call him." I added

A few minutes after Liberty hang up, a knock came at my door revealing a half asleep Jarrell. His hair was messy and his face was puffy, he wore shirt with very loose sweat pants that didn't do a good job at hiding the bulge below his waist.
