The room was a whirlwind of sensation and sound, filled with the raw intensity of Orion’s labor. As he pushed with every ounce of strength he had left, the pain was nearly unbearable, each contraction a wave of agony.
“Articus, make it stop please, it hurts!” Orion cried out, his voice breaking with desperation and exhaustion. His body was wracked with pain as he continued to push, the effort taking its toll on him both physically and emotionally.
Articus, his own heart aching for his brother, remained at Orion’s side, trying to offer comfort despite the escalating situation. “You’re doing so well, Orion. We’re almost there,” he said, his voice filled with a mix of encouragement and concern. “Just a little longer. I know it’s tough, but we need to keep going.”
The tension in the room was palpable as Orion’s cries grew more intense. “Fuck!” he screamed, his voice raw and anguished. “I can feel it—it's burning!”
The sensation of the baby’s head moving through the birth canal was overwhelming, and Orion’s entire body felt like it was on fire with the intensity of the experience. His cries were a mixture of pain and a desperate plea for the ordeal to end.
Articus’s hands moved quickly but gently, ensuring that everything was proceeding as it should. “You’re so close, Orion,” he said urgently. “The head is almost out. Just a few more pushes, and we’ll have this done.”
As Orion continued to push, the room was filled with the sounds of his strained cries and the soft murmurs of Articus’s reassurances. Each push brought them closer to the end of this grueling process, and the air was thick with the raw, primal energy of the moment.
