Back in the Ziggurat, the mysterious orb continues to spin. Delilah remains on the ground, still alive as Percy aims his gun at her while Cassandra stands next to him. Cole still holds Keyleth as everyone else watches.
Cole: Come on... Stay up! Please!
Everyone then sees dark veins slowly growing on Keyleth's face.
Cole: Do we have something to help her?
Vex: An elixir. *Digs into the bag to give Cole an elixir* Try this. Quickly.
Without hesitation, Cole grabs the elixir and opens the cork. He then pours the elixir into Keyleth's mouth until the bottle is empty. The group waits anxiously but nothing happens as the dark veins grow more onto her face.
Cole: It's not working. We're losing her!
Delilah: The Whispered One did not return... We failed. *Grunts* It was too soon.
Percy: *Looks at the others* There's nothing to be done. Keyleth is gone. But at least we have what we came for.
Percy places his gun on Delilah's head.
Cole: Percy.
Vex: The fuck are you talking about?! Keyleth is still breathing!
Scanlan: Something's not right. Uh, let me try, uh... *Plays his lute* ♫ Scanlan's hand ♫
Scanlan tries to summon his hand but nothing happens.
Scanlan: The elixir, my spell- *Looks at the orb* That thing must be blocking all magic.
Cole: What?
Cole tries to cast fire magic then lightning magic but nothing comes out.
Cole: Holy shit he is right... Get the orb away!
Vex and Vax get up as Cole carries Keyleth. Cassandra walks up to Delilah.
Cassandra: We're not done with you yet.
Cassandra grabs Delilah by the hair and begins to drag her out of the room.
Meanwhile
Vox Machina runs out of the Ziggurat.
???: Hungry~
Grog stops as he turns around confused only to see Sylas's sword. He walks up to it and grabs it up to his face.
Grog: Finders keepers.
Grog then looks in awe as he sees his reflection on the blade waves.
Scanlan: *Gets in front of Grog* Hey! Let's move, big guy.
Scanlan begins to join up with the others as Grog puts the sword on his back before joining up with the others all the while Cole falls to his knees, feeling tired.
???: Hey...
Keyleth then gets taken away as Cole sees her being carried by Grog.
Grog: Easy, I got her from here.
Cole: Thanks, Grog.
The party continues to walk away from the ziggurat. Soon Vox Machina enters the acid chambers.
Scanlan: Okay, wait, wait, hold up... *Plays his lute* ♫ Scanlan's hand ♫
A thumbs up Scanlan's hand appears next to him.
Scanlan: Yes! We got magic!
Vax removes his coat. and place them down on the floor as Grog places Keyleth on top of it.
