--Few Days Later--
You sat on the bed across from Jungkook, your arms crossed, your gaze fixed on him for nearly 15 minutes. He, however, seemed unfazed, completely absorbed in the laptop before him.
Jungkook fought to suppress a laugh, maintaining an air of indifference as if your intense stare didn't bother him at all.
You closed the laptop and took it from him. Jungkook looked at you.
Jungkook - Y/n, do you even know what you're doing?
Y/n - That's what I'm asking. Do you even know what you're doing?
Jungkook pretended like he knew nothing.
Jungkook - What?
You sighed.
Y/n - It's been almost 20 minutes that I'm here, and you didn't even spare a look at me.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, a playful grin forming.
Jungkook - I'm just focused, you know?
Y/n - Focused? On what? You've been typing the same line for the last ten minutes.
He leaned back against the headboard, crossing his arms.
Jungkook - Maybe I'm writing a masterpiece.
Y/n - More like a comedy.
He chuckled, finally meeting your gaze.
Y/n - No one would listen to such long speeches. Trust me, from my experience working at my father's company, even I can't sit through his speeches-they're so boring.
Jungkook laughed.
Jungkook - Okay, okay, point taken.
He pulled you closer, making you lean back against his chest as he hugged you from behind. You smiled, feeling warmth envelop you.
Jungkook - I know this is what you want.
You smiled. He chuckled softly, resting his chin on your shoulder.
Jungkook - Sometimes, it's nice to just take a break and enjoy the moment, don't you think?
You looked at him with a side-eye, as if silently asking, "Who says though?"
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile on his face.
Jungkook tightened his grip, and for a moment, everything else faded away.
You leaned back a little further, feeling comfortable in his embrace.
Y/n - So, what do you really want to do today?
Jungkook smirked.
Jungkook - I really wanted to do something with you, but not during the day-at night.
You nudged him lightly in the stomach with your elbow, a playful grin on your face.
Y/n - Seriously? You can't just drop hints like that and expect me to ignore them!
Jungkook laughed, raising his hands in mock surrender.
Jungkook - Alright, alright! I was just teasing.
You leaned back against him as Jungkook wrapped his arms around you.
Jungkook - How about we go for a late-night drive?
You smiled and nodded.
Y/n - That sounds nice.
Jungkook grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
