SELENE HAS ALWAYS TOLD
her best friend, Isabella, everything. They never kept secrets from each other, now especially after the Cullen's sudden and unexpected leave.

"He's making new friends, Lene, let him have some fun." Bella said, placing her palm on Selene's fist as they sat crisscrossed on her bed. "I know, Bells, but...it's just," She lets out a sigh, biting on the insides of her cheek. "I understand his side, but, I read the girls' mind and...I don't want to be a second choice." She mumbled the last part.

Bella let out an exhale, pulling Selene into her arms as the siren rests her temple against the girl's shoulder. "You're not a second choice, Selene. You're his imprint, and on what you told me about that, you'll always be his first choice." She assures, caressing Selene's soft hair. They sat like that for a while, until Bella let out a stiffed laugh.

Selene smiles, "what?"

Upon Bella's silence, Selene sat up and the two bursted in sudden giggles. "Tell me!" Selene pleaded, her fingers interlocked as she begged the girl. Bella runs her hand through her hair, "You up for some bowling?"  Selene's lips widen into an excited grin, she knew Bella was up to anything when the people she cared about were in a situation.

-

"Your hood!" Bella whispered out, placing Selene's hood back on-top of her head.

Their disguises were...something. Bella wore sunglasses that Selene let her borrow with a hat on top of her head, meanwhile the siren wore the same with a hood and a scarf around her neck which was sprayed by a large amount of perfume for her own scent not to be recognisable.

"Do you see them anywhere?" Selene whispered as she leaned to Bella's side while the two kept averting glances around the bowling area. "No," Bella shook her head and Selene turned to the counter, taking two pair of shoes their sizes. "Thank you." She thanked the man and turned back to where Bella was standing.

The two sat down on a bench and began to untie their shoes. Bella got the bowling shoes on quickly, but Selene struggled. Bella pressed her lips together and held her laugh as she watched the girl almost fall backwards, holding onto her shoe with both hands, pulling it on her foot. "I can't get this shoe on!" Selene shouted in frustration.

Bella let the laugh escape and that was when she sighted the two members of Sam's pack enter, going over to the counter and borrowing the shoes in their sizes. Her happy expression turned into a panicking one, "Puppy alert, puppy alert!" Bella quickly slapped Selene's arms multiple times and the siren's head turned to the her as Bella motioned to look behind. Selene did so, and her eyes widen when she was Paul and Embry taking the shoes in their hands and coming their way. "Cover, cover!" Selene whispered loudly and the two quickly bend their upper body to their feet, pretending to tie their shoelaces.

Selene and Bella let out a sigh of relief when they passed. "That was..." Bella began, catching her breath as she was too scared to even breathe in the situation. "scary? exciting?..."Selene counted as she turned her head to the human girl who simply let out a chuckle. "I think all of those."

-

Selene and Bella carefully followed everywhere Paul and Embry were going, well, except the bathroom. That would be just...weird.

They were currently sitting in the cafeteria, couple of meters behind the two shape-shifters who patiently waited for their two lady friends to arrive. Bella ate her french fries, her eyes squinted to the front while Selene leaned over the side of the sofa, her forehead and eyes only visible.
