AFTER BELLA'S AND EDWARD'S graduation, to which Selene didn't attend due to the excuse of Carlisle and Esme gave to the principal that she had moved back to Alaska with her 'aunt'. However, what she did, was attend the party. A party in a house she's living in? Yeah, she's not missing that out.

"Does this dress make me look fat?" Selene asks, glancing into the mirror with a confused expression and running her hand against her slim waist that was tightened by the black tight dress she wore. "You look beautiful, Sel." Alice says truthfully and Selene smiles at her through the mirror in return. "Alright then," She turns to her sister, a smirk crossing her face. "Let's get this party started."

Selene walks down the stairs first, Alice right behind her. The siren's nostrils recognised the familiar scent through the smell of alcohol and sweat.

Werewolves. Four of them, to be specific.

"Thank you," she grabs a red cup from the group of boys that passed her, giving them a smile.

"Was my right hook too subtle for you? That was me uninviting you."

Selene joins Bella's side, bringing the cup to her lips and resting her arm on Bella's shoulder. "I think I didn't see 'Quileute shape-shifters' on the invited list." She says with risen eyebrows and Jacob sighs. However, just as he was about to speak, Jessica comes running over and begins to drag Selene away.

"Come on, we're playing the pingpong game!"

"So?" Selene says with a lifted brow, clearly annoyed for being interrupted in a middle of a conversation. Jessica lets out a groan, "Mike made a bet with Trevor. Whoever wins, has to try and flirt with you, and well...we both know how that ends." Her expression said it all. And Paul's snicker was loud and clear as so was Selene's glare.

"Come on!" Jessica continued to plead and Selene forcibly took her arm away from her grip. "Okay, don't grab me like that."

It was seen in the girls' eyes she was drunk and was barely standing, it was clear when she grabbed Selene again, but this time more softly. The siren turned to leave, and what the werewolves heard was the red cup she once held—was cut through with her extended claws.

"Paul."

"Yeah, i'll make sure she doesn't kill someone." Paul tapped Jacob's chest with a smile and jogged over to Selene. Jacob furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "And who'll make sure he doesn't kill someone?" He asks and shakes his head, continuing the conversation with Bella.

"Okay, guys, let's see what you got." Selene walks into the room after Jessica, the room cheering for the two boys that got into their positions, Mike being first. A hand was placed on Selene's back, making her turn her head to the person quickly. "Easy~. I'm just checking out my competition, yeah?" Paul says with a grin, glancing down to Selene with a chuckle.

Selene had to admit, she felt her heart skip a beat when the hand was placed on her lower back. She never got flustered around boys, because she knew they only wanted one thing and they ended up with a black eye. But, with Paul it was different...she could never hurt him. She would never hurt him.

The applause makes her snap her head forward and notices Trevor chugging down the drink. He crushes the cup in his hand, letting out an excited shout of adrenaline before switching places with Mike. Trevor lowers himself, glancing to Selene and giving her a wink. Selene, however, rolls her eyes at his cockiness, but Paul wasn't quite happy about the action. He tightens his fist and presses his lips together, tilting his head to the side in a daring way towards Trevor. Selene extends her arm behind Paul and sliding her hand down his wrist to his fingers. His fist eased and he let his hand relax, interlocking his fingers with her.
