"You cannot change. Everything you've done before, you'll continue to do. It's just in your nature. And your children? You've bound them to your nature, ecspecially your daughter. She cannot be saved."

- Urd, Verdani & Skuld, Norns of the North to Kratos.

Olympus

"The Underworld prepares for war against Lyssa, Queen Hestia. Lyssa says that...Adoni is responsible for the death of one of hers. Princess Melinoe says that Zagareus had been gone for days, held up in Lyssa's prison because he helped Adoni realize her true destiny. What even is it?" Eleos whispers softly as she writes the letter to Hestia. "The Princess says that it even involves Queen Nyx and Lord Erebus...What has our girl gotten herself into? I fear that since I allowed it for Lyssa to take our Adoni that this falls on me..."

The letter sealed itself and went to the Throne of the Gods, where Hestia was absent. It was late at night for her to be awake. She was most likely tending to her Ire. Eleos began to sob, crying uncontrollably in her palms, gripping one of Adoni's outgrown tunics. Her pain was immense, an undesirable pain felt amongst Olympus. For the goddess of mercy, she didn't show much mercy to herself in this matter. "I shouldn't...have allowed Lyssa to take her. I should've done so much more...Sweet Hera..."

"Hera would've killed the baby of that bastard, Eleos, and what would you have done to stop Lyssa? You're a goddess, yes, but you're not exactly a war-goddess. She would've taken her regardless...Be grateful she brought her back."

That snake-like voice belonged to Eris, who slinked herself into the room, circling Eleos.

"You're the embodiment of human emotions. Nothing more, nothing less. And believing yourself to possibly be a mother to the child? Oh I pity you, sweet Eleos."

Eleos holds herself as Eris feasts on her grief. Circulating the room like a serpent, she grins, summoning her spirits of poverty, despair, torment and helplessness.

"Leave."

The spirits disappeared and Eleos looked up with teary eyes to see Lady Nyx, the goddess of the Night, illuminating the room, glaring at Eris. She was grand, with dark curls filled with scattered lights in them like stars. Her gown seemed to be made of the cosmos themselves as the shadows Eris summoned had moved away in fear. In that instant, Eris moved out in a heap of shadows and Nyx came to a concerned Eleos' aid as she gripped the tumic tighter.

"My sweet Eleos, the fate of your daughter is out of our hands. Nothing could've changed her fate. All things happen for a reason. Adoni is alright." Lady Nyx said, comforting Eleos a bit. "Do not be hard on yourself." Eleos looked up, eyes watering and she held on to the tunic, knuckles white from her grip. "As a mother...I understand more than you know. Allow me to comfort you, child. Seek shelter in my embrace." Lady Nyx said, as Eleos fell forward sobbing getting her hair stroked. "We cannot control or change fate for our children...we can only help guide them. Together."

We continued in the mouth of Jormangandr and I gasped as we were flung out of his body. My eyes widen as I grab Atreus and my shield, watching as we hurdle towards rocks in the snow. "I got you, brother!" The shield bounced us over and I flipped over, Atreus flying into the snow near me. All I heard was a loud thud from the World Serpent.

"Boy? BOY?!" Kratos yelled as I slowly got up, extending my hand and bringing my shield back to my hands. Breathing in softly, I heard Atreus' laugh.

"I'm here! I'm good? Think I'm getting kinda used to this. What happened to him? Something we did?" Atreus asked, helping me up.
