"He'll Never Be Whole Without The Truth." -Mimir, God of War (2018)

I heard battle chants, war cries as the gates opened. I stood valiantly beside Helga and Dagny, ready to help welcome the warriors back to their home.

Dagny smiled. "My sons have returned!" She chanted aloud as it seemed to be a celebration. There was cheering and clapping.

Once the gates finally opened, a large army of men came through. Helga immediately raced from behind me and to a man. Dagny tugged at my arm. "That's my eldest of my sons, Ama's husband, Calder, who was born in one of the harshest winters known in my time," Dagny explained, pointing to him. "They get their good looks from me!"

Another man, came to us, specifically Dagny, hugging her tightly. "This is my second son, Erik. My youngest son is right there," she pointed to another man, still talking and laughing with the warriors. "That is Halvar."

Soon all three of her sons came to Dagny. "Calder, Erik, and Halvar, sons of Dagny," I said, looking up at all the men.

Calder, the Eldest.

Erik, the Middle.

And Halvar, the Youngest.

"Sons, this is our goddess, Adoni. While you were away, the sons of Thor, and Baldur, the son of the Allfather attacked us, trying to get us to tell them about Faye. Adoni stepped in, stopped the fires and fought one of the sons of Thor for our protection," she said. "The other son left and Baldur escaped from here."

Calder scuffed. "So does just any warrior woman, shield maiden, that saves the village automatically deemed a goddess?"

Erik tilted his head and looked at me. "She could just be a Valkyrie, she'd still have my thanks," he said.

Halvar stayed quiet but never took his eyes off of me.

"No, I've foreseen her godhood. She is indeed a goddess from another land on a journey. Whether that journey be physical, mental or emotional, she is a goddess," Dagny said.

"Let me see then, after we feast. We'll find that old training ground in the woods and we'll see for ourselves if she truly is the goddess you speak of," Calder said, eyeing me down.

Helga smiled and came up to me. "Goddess, goddess, that's my father! Those two are my uncles!"

I smiled softly. "They are lively characters, I see where you get all your spunk from, Helga," I said, rubbing her head.

We ventured on to the dining hall. It seems like it was a good thing that I helped hunt for all the men there. There was a combination of fish, meat, potatos, mead and other foods. I sat down at a lone table and
Began to eat. Immediately a plethra of men who were in the little army sat around me.

"Riddle me this, if you're a goddess, what kind of goddess are you? Vanir or Aesir?" Asked a man.

"Greek. I'm a goddess of the New Pantheon," I replied truthfully.

The men around me erupted with laughter. I looked up from eating.

"What's humoring you all?"

"Never heard of the Greek gods," another man said.

I smirked a bit. "I forgot this land is new to me just as my land is foreign to you. They are the gods of my lands. If I had to put title on it, I would declare myself the goddess of Battle, Truth and Victory which would include mental and emotional victory too. If I ever was to put that title on it. Right now, I'm happy to be unlabeled as being a goddess of anything," I said, looking down.
