"Life and Death are inextricable and war is often what connects the two. Don't you agree?"

There was nothing beautiful about Tartarus. It reeked of death and fear and the air felt as if it could suffocate you. We went past the bodies of decaying giants and my eyes widened slightly as I saw the body of a titan, with a nail shoved in its chin. It was definitely dead. I stared at it for a while, feeling a slight sense of familiarity, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
Flying past it, I flew over the armies as they ran, nonstop. My eyes widened as I looked up, seeing a large titan with four arms who was holding up the sky. Well, it looked like the sky to me. I glanced at him as he only had one chain on and my eyes widened. It turned and looked at me, eyes full of scorn and didn't say a word.
The scent lead me past him and we made full eye contact. He seemed familiar as well, but I didn't know why. I flew past him and after some time, I saw the large palace in the distance, making my eyes widen. It looked like a vast cathedral. My eyes widened and I saw Lyssa at the top, glaring down at the undead army. Falling down, I land in front of the army and land on my feet, hand pressed into the ground and the wings spread momentarily before receding.
Her face was filled with disappointment and she simply turned away. In that instant, a large army of shadows came out past her and my eyes widened.
"Alala! No retreat! No surrender!" I yelled out, pointing one of my blades forward and the armies ran to meet her army. I simply walked towards the staircase, through the armies and their fights. A shadow creature attempted to attack me but I immediately stabbed it, tossing it away. As I went up, I stepped inside of the palace, seeing how vast and empty the room was along with its semi-destruction. In the back was a large throne and the ceiling seemed infinite. At least 50 feet high.
Lyssa didn't say anything for some time, summoning her rabid wolves like she did last time. These were much bigger and much more crazed. Her attire looked different. Her wolf head helmet was black with red eyes and her hair was wild and untamed. She wore a black chest plate with lava streams seemingly flowing inside of them. Around her neck was the matching black fur that matched her helmet. Her legs were covered in the same armor and her arms were covered in chains. Her eyes glowed with that same unholy tint of yellow that made my skin crawl as a child.
"I'm beyond disappointed in you. You were the child of prophecy, and you failed. You still have a chance to be redeemed, Sozime."
"You can stop now." I said, glaring her down. We began to circle each other, her wolves attempting to circle me as well in an attempt to trap me. "You and I both know that I am not returning to your hell. I know my prophecy. Yet, you haven't learned from your predecessors that fate should never be tested, only accepted. How long are you going to keep denying your fate?"
She scoffed and was abnormally calm. "You were meant for greater. We were meant for greater. Be honored that I still offer you a proposal after you slaughtered most of my coven, most of your teachers."
"Their deaths were foretold as well. I'd rather die than be by your side again, Lyssa." I replied.
"As expected."
Her wolves came up and the one on the left was instantly grabbed by me by its jaw and I tore it off, kicking it away. The other wolf was hit with the jaw and I grabbed its neck, breaking it and throwing it towards Lyssa. But she was gone. My eyes widened as she came from behind with a kick and I ducked, turning around. She came at me, attempting to land hit after hit on me. Most hit my bracers and I shoved other hits away. We countered each other multiple, multiple times, with both legs and arms. She kicked me but I caught it and before she could raise her other foot off the ground to kick me, I grab it and swing her around, sending her into one of the pillars harshly.
