Taylor had been nervous before, but this was different. Today, she was meeting Travis's parents for the first time, and the weight of it felt heavier than she'd expected. Despite all her fame and her success, meeting the parents of the man she loved brought a nervous excitement she hadn't felt in a long time. It wasn't about her being a pop star—it was about her being Taylor, the girl who had fallen for Travis Kelce, the NFL star who had swept her off her feet.

Travis had reassured her a hundred times. "They're gonna love you, Tay," he'd said, his voice full of confidence. "You've got nothing to worry about. My mom's already a fan—remember that Thanksgiving game? You're basically a part of the family already."

But despite his reassurances, Taylor couldn't help but feel those little butterflies in her stomach as they drove up to Ed and Donna Kelce's home. She glanced at Travis, who was driving with his usual relaxed confidence, one hand resting on the steering wheel, the other entwined with hers.

He must have sensed her nerves because he squeezed her hand and flashed her one of his signature grins. "You're good, babe. I promise. Mom and Dad are gonna adore you."

Taylor smiled softly, her heart warming at the sight of his calm demeanor. He always had a way of making her feel at ease, even in the most nerve-wracking situations. She leaned over, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Thanks, Trav. I'm just... you know, meeting the parents is a big deal."

He chuckled, turning his head slightly to look at her, his eyes filled with nothing but love and admiration. "I know it is. But trust me, they've been looking forward to meeting you ever since we started dating."

As they pulled into the driveway, the quaint house looked cozy and inviting. There were flowers blooming in the front yard, and the windows were open, letting in the afternoon breeze. It wasn't a mansion like some of the places they'd been to, but it had a homey, lived-in charm that made Taylor feel more at ease. This wasn't some stuffy dinner at a high-end restaurant—it was a family home.

As soon as they parked, Travis jumped out of the car and walked over to her side, opening the door for her. "Ready?" he asked with a wink, holding out his hand.

Taking a deep breath, Taylor nodded, slipping her hand into his as they made their way to the front door.

Before they could knock, the door swung open, and there stood Donna Kelce, a wide, welcoming smile on her face. "There they are!" she exclaimed, pulling Travis into a hug before turning her attention to Taylor. "And this must be the famous Taylor Swift!"

Donna's warmth immediately put Taylor at ease. She was so down-to-earth, so real—exactly as Travis had described her.

Taylor smiled, feeling the tension in her shoulders start to ease. "It's so nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Kelce."

"Oh, honey, call me Donna," she said, wrapping Taylor in a hug that was both unexpected and comforting. "And I have to tell you, I've been a fan of yours for years. We're so happy you're here."

Taylor blushed slightly, surprised by the warmth of Donna's greeting. It wasn't like the stiff, formal introductions she'd been used to in Hollywood. This felt... different. It felt like home.

As they stepped inside, Ed Kelce was waiting in the living room, standing up from his chair with a grin. He was just as Travis had described—laid-back, with a calm presence that instantly made Taylor feel welcome.

"Nice to meet you, Taylor," Ed said, extending his hand. But before she could shake it, he pulled her into a hug as well, chuckling softly. "You're family now. No need for handshakes."

Taylor laughed, feeling the warmth and ease of the moment. She glanced at Travis, who was watching her with a soft smile, his eyes full of pride. He knew this would go well, and he was right.
