It was a rare, quiet day, something neither Taylor nor Travis had experienced in what felt like forever. No rehearsals, no practices, no media appearances—just an unplanned day together. Taylor stretched lazily in bed, blinking against the morning light filtering through the blinds, and smiled when she felt Travis's arms loop around her waist.

"Good morning, beautiful," Travis murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to her temple. His voice was still husky from sleep, his hold around her warm and familiar.

"Morning," she replied, shifting closer to him, practically burrowing into his chest. She wasn't ready to let him go—not even for a moment. "What's on your agenda today?"

"Just the podcast recording later. That's it," he said, running his fingers through her hair. "But that's not until this afternoon."

Taylor nodded, smiling to herself as she toyed with his fingers. "Good. Because I'm not letting you out of my sight today."

Travis chuckled, looking down at her with amusement. "Oh yeah? What if I need to grab a snack or... use the bathroom?"

"Then I'm going with you," she said, only half-joking as she leaned up, resting her chin on his chest, and gazed at him with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

True to her word, Taylor was glued to his side all morning, holding his hand as he went around the house. When he headed to the kitchen to make coffee, she stood right next to him, her fingers laced through his as he reached for the mugs with his free hand.

"You're really not letting me out of your sight, huh?" he teased, grinning as he poured the coffee.

"Nope," she said with a playful smile, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek. "Not even for a second."

He leaned down, brushing his lips against hers. "Fine by me, clingy."

After breakfast, they lounged on the couch, watching random shows and just enjoying the rare quiet together. Taylor stretched out, her legs draped over his lap, and every so often, she would reach up, running her fingers along his jawline, brushing his hair back, just wanting to touch him.

When it was time to get ready for the New Heights podcast recording, Taylor was still right by his side as they walked into the room where the equipment was set up. Travis chuckled, raising an eyebrow as she made herself comfortable on his lap instead of on the spare chair set aside for her.

"You know you can sit in that chair over there," he said, nodding to the empty seat. "You don't have to stick to me like glue."

"Not a chance," she replied, resting her head against his chest, looking up at him. "You're not getting rid of me that easily today."

He laughed, wrapping an arm around her and pressing a quick kiss to the top of her head. "Can't say I'm complaining."

Jason soon joined them in the recording room, his eyes widening with amusement as he saw Taylor on Travis's lap.

"Whoa, Trav, I didn't realize this was a two-for-one episode!" Jason joked, sitting down and adjusting his mic.

Taylor looked over at him with a grin. "Surprise!"

"Welcome, Taylor. How's it feel to join us today?" Jason teased, clearly entertained by the whole scene. "Gotta say, you look comfy."

Travis smirked, one arm around her waist, the other hand resting on her thigh. "She's my permanent guest host today, apparently."

Taylor leaned her head back to look at him. "You love it."

He laughed, brushing a few stray strands of her hair back. "I'm not complaining."

As the podcast started, Travis was focused on the conversation with Jason, but Taylor could feel his gaze dropping to her now and then, a small smile tugging at his lips whenever he looked down at her. Her fingers toyed absently with his as she listened, occasionally laughing at his jokes or chiming in with playful little remarks.

At one point, Jason leaned forward, shooting them both an exaggerated look. "Trav, you know she's been in half of this episode, right? Every time you're looking down or playing with her hair—it's on camera."

One of the producers piped up, chuckling. "He's not wrong. Editing around you two is... a challenge."

Taylor laughed, snuggling closer to Travis. "I'm officially part of the crew now," she said, giving the camera a little wave.

Jason just shook his head, grinning. "This is supposed to be a football podcast, you know. Not the Travis-and-Taylor-Cuddle-Hour."

Travis just shrugged, holding her closer. "Can't help it if I've got the best seat in the house."

The rest of the podcast was filled with similar playful banter, and each time Travis looked down at her or ran his hand through her hair, the producers would just sigh, laughing as they made notes about how they'd have to leave those moments in because they'd become so much a part of the episode. When they finally wrapped, Jason stretched, giving Taylor a knowing smirk.

"Well, thanks for stopping by, Taylor. Maybe next time, we'll get you a chair."

She laughed, giving him a quick hug as she stood up, stretching her arms overhead. "We'll see. I kind of like the setup we had today."

As they headed out, Travis slung an arm around her shoulders, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I kind of liked it, too."

The rest of the day passed in much the same way, with Taylor glued to Travis's side. They went out for lunch, sharing bites of each other's food and laughing at the looks they got from other diners. She held his hand as they walked around town, stealing kisses whenever they paused by a storefront or a park bench.

That night, they finally returned home, and Travis looked over at her, smiling softly as she kicked off her shoes and stretched out on the couch. He sat down beside her, and she immediately leaned against him, her head on his shoulder.

"Today was... perfect," she murmured, a soft smile on her lips as she looked up at him.

"Because you wouldn't let me out of your sight?" he teased, wrapping an arm around her.

"Exactly," she said, snuggling closer. "And you loved it."

He laughed, holding her tightly. "Yeah, you know I did."
