Protect the house!

Like all types of society, Xan City also has a government system in order to keep civilization there from going crazy in a style of an anarchist. The only difference was that Xan City has the Government system, Monarchy; one where the emperor or empress takes command. And Empress Erica was the one to be the leader. Under her rule, Xan City was peaceful, until the recent event of the cult worries her. She even requested two people to meet her in her room to inform her the situation.

As the elevator door opened, Stan came out. He was given directions to the building where Erica is at thanks to her guards who were instructed to do so. As he exited out, He saw Neo there waiting for him.

"Neo? Where are you doing here?" Stan asked.

"I was called by the empress. I'm guessing she called you too, huh?" Neo asked.

Before Stan could answer, the door opened and Empress Erica appeared. The two boys bowed in respect before being told to rise back up. "Neo. Stan. I'm glad you two could make it."

"Empress. What's this all about?" Neo asked.

"Come with me and I'll explain everything to you."

The two agreed and followed Erica into her large room where there is a desk near the window wall. Her room is built identical to any fantasy monarch room. Only difference is that is has an adaption to modern times. The boys could not help but wonder on all the regal décor. It was something one has to see before their end. Eventually, the door was closed and Erica turned to the boys while in front of her desk.

"Now. As you are aware, the recent incidents regarding the cult is getting out of hand. Even to the point where they are starting to kidnap many victims to join." She explained.

"I know what you mean. Loona and I were suppose to enjoy a nice day at the mall when we fought the members." Stan added.

"They attacked you?!" Neo asked.

"It's ok Bro. We've managed to beat them. Plus, Dave is taking Loona back to my home after the leader threw crap onto her eyes."

"Stan. Tell me. Did any of the member asked for something? Someone?" Erica asked while placing her hand on her chin as she sat down.

"Now that you mentioned it, they did say they were looking for you Neo."

"Me?" Neo pointed at himself. "But I didn't do anything to them."

"It's not about what you've done. It's about what they want from you." The empress said.

"Like what?"

Erica got up after sighing. She reached towards the book shelf and looked through until she found the right one before explaining. "I've been researching on that matter while trying to help your school. At first I was stumped with no lead. But then on the news, there was a graffiti message made by them. It took some time to translate. But eventually, I figured it out. Or most of it."

She opened the book and signaled them to come closer to see. Their eyes widen as it appeared to be some ancient pictures withing the book, including a language they've never seen before. It shows what appears to be a group of people fighting another. One side looked to be sinister. The other looked like a group of humans and one that looked like a leader. On the next page, one person was trying to summon something using strange incantation.

"Strange. I know there are satanic rituals using incantations. But there is nothing relatable towards it." Stan commented as he adjusted his glasses.

"That's correct. There wouldn't be anything related to that. But it was indeed use to summon something. Something that even the Devil feared." Erica said.
