Dangers

School was over for the day. But for the gang, it's not over yet. And they were fortunate to not have any homework tonight. They worked hard to help make fliers for Isabelle to win the election to help save the school. But with no more papers, they went to the copy room to make more fliers. And as they were waiting for the copies to be finished, Neo can clearly see Stan dragging.

"Um...Stan? I think you should head home to get some sleep after this." Neo said.

"You kidding? At five in the afternoon?" Stan asked while trying to keep his eyes open.

"Dude. You've been up all night playing the PS5."

"The games on it are awesome. I'm not going home yet. I'll be..." Stan started to snooze a bit before Loona decided to tease him.

"BOO!"

"AAAH!" Stan jumped before landing onto the floor. Loona tried so hard not to laugh out loud when she did that. Stan got up. "Seriously?"

"What? It was too easy." Loona said.

Alaria walked over with concern. "You did it to yourself with your games. Your balance is broken by lack of sleep. If this keeps up, It will bring serious trouble. So I would listen to Neo if I were you and go home to sleep."

"But..."

"No buts. Only sleep." Neo stopped Stan.

"Come on. It's not like the PS5 will form legs and run away." Loona joked.

Stan tried to think of a way to defend himself. But his mind is an absolute fog. All he could think of is sleep. He really hates to admit it, but they were right. So he moaned and respond. "Agh....fine. You guys are almost as worse as my mother."

Loona flicked his ear, to which he responded in a jolt. Neo smiled knowing that Loona cared about Stan deeply. Knowing her, she's probably gonna take him home. He didn't mind.

Krystal on the other hand was deep within her thoughts on what solution she thought of it. She knew what it is and was worried what the others would think. Neo notice this and asked her. "Hey Krystal. What's wrong?"

"OH! Umm..."Krystal was trying to find the right words to speak. She took a deep breath. "I think there is a way to solve the school's money problem. And you are not gonna like it."

"Well what is it?" Neo asked.

"Well...it's..."

"Wait..." Stan heard them. And despite being tired, his memory of the past was still strong. "You're not suggesting that thing. The thing that drove Imamura mad. Right?"

"Yes. The Treasure he looked for."

Neo was speechless. His mood turned into a mixture of anger and fear as he spoke. "NO, KRYSTAL! NO!"

"Neo. It could help the school."

"And it could make you insane. Did you forget what happen to your step-father when he found it?"

"And the fact that an evil AI made him worse? He made your life a living hell!" Stan added.

"But-" Krystal tried to protest but Neo and Stan stopped her.

"NO!"

Krystal jumped a bit. She knew they would not like the idea, but this was a bit overboard, even though it was justifiable. Long ago, her step father, Takaya Imamura, was a kind and loving father. After they were in a financial situation, he traveled to find the treasure she talked about. The treasure however showed him visions of her popularity and ignorance of others to which made him rot in turmoil. He eventually changed into an abusive lair to her and made Krystal's life absolute hell. After the rough AI, Corvus, attached itself to him, he changed into a monster. After Corvus's defeat, Imamura, who was already driven mad, had his mind destroyed and made him a vegetable. Even after all of that, Krystal still had a soft spot for him as he was her father. She blamed the treasure for all of her pain. Yet ironically enough, she believes it's needed to help save the school.
