THIRD PERSON
a week later

Chaewon sat in her office, flipping through papers. She was very stressed. Rumor that another gang might start another territory takeover, and Yunjin is still missing. Chaewon had put Sakura in charge of the gang stuff for now. Chaewon decided to try and find the younger girl before this alleged "takeover" starts.

She needed too, If Yunjin was caught in the middle of crossfire, ultimately getting hurt. That would kill Chaewon. She doesn't know how, or why. But she's grown a deep caring for the girl. She was only 17, a kid. She had a hard life, abused by her stepfather. That thought upset Chaewon to the core.

The urge to hunt the man down and make him pay for what he has done Yunjin was strong. She wanted to see him suffer in Yunjin's defense. and the fact he as still out there, and Yunjin was now alone out there worried Chaewon alot.

Chaewon continued to flip through the pages, trying to distract herself from her worry and stress. Chaewon's head snapped up when she heard a knock at the door. "Come in" She said with a soft but stressed voice. The door opened, revealing Eunchae. Chaewon looked at the younger girl.

"What do you need?" She asked. "Boss... I'm sorry" the younger girl replied. Confusion washed over Chaewon. "What are you sorry for?" She asked, now standing from her chair but still behind her desk.

"I'm sorry for causing trouble with Yeji's gang. and sorry for needing so much protection" Eunchae said, looking down at her feet. Chaewon knew the girl was genuine. Eunchae was only a teen, 17 years old. She was still learning how this world works.

Chaewon walked over to the girl, and put a hand on her shoulder. Eunchae looked up at her, a little confused. "It's fine Manchae... Just don't do it again or I will punish you" Chaewon said softly, but firm. Eunchae nodded. "Eunchae... I know you can protect yourself, just as much as we protect you" She says, taking her hand off the younger girl's shoulder.

Eunchae nodded and Chaewon dismissed the girl. Chaewon sighed and grabbed the box of cigarettes, sitting on her desk. She walked outside and lit one. She put the burning cigarette to her lips. Taking a long drag.

Thoughts of Yunjin came back to Chaewon's mind. A pang of worry hit her heart. Unshed tears filled the rim of her eyes. She needed to know where Yunjin was. If she was okay? Harmed? Why did she leave? If she knew how much She was worrying for her?

Chaewon continued to smoke, hoping she would somehow catch a glimpse of Yunjin in the distance.

HUH YUNJIN

I walked for hours, My feet sore from it. I looked homeless, which was fitting, giving my situation. I sighed in frustration. Tiredness catching up to me.

I found a nearby bench and sat down. I needed to rest my feet.

I needed sleep.

I just looked around at the town. It was raining before so the sidewalk was wet. you could see it in the light of the glowing signs of shops and restaurants. Then something in the distance caught my interest.

It was a homeless shelter. For people who had no where to go. I smiled to myself. "Maybe I can stay here for a while, until I can get myself out" I say to myself quietly. I stand up and walk over. My feet immediately going sore, but I push on.

Once I got to the front of it, I stopped and stared for a minute. It had a red glowing sign that read 'Moonlit Homeless Shelter'. I snapped out of it and walked inside. There were a lot of people. I walked to the front desk.

"Hello, How can I help you?" The lady behind the desk said. "Hi... Can I stay here?" I ask. "Hmm, we have to check your records, and you have to be over the age of 18" She says, and I nod in response.

"What's you're name?" She asks. "Huh Yunjin" I reply. She nods and types it in the computer. I wait patiently for her to finish. "Okay, Yunjin you're good to go, no criminal record, and you're over the age of 18. you're free to stay" She says with a friendly smile. I smile back and head to an empty room.

I go inside the room and I lay down, falling into a deep sleep. Maybe this isn't so bad.
