"THE HELL YOU MEAN YOU DROVE HER!?" I exclaim at Sakura. I wake up to see Yunjin missing and almost having a damn heart attack for this? "I'm sorry chief, I thought you would want your sleep..." Sakura says, shock and confusion on her face.
"I wake up to my princ- I mean Yunjin missing, searching this damn place up and down for you to tell me that your drove her? I would gladly give up sleep for her" I say, still very frustrated. Yuri had entered the room during that outburst.
I turn to look at her, she has a smirk on her face. "I heard that slip up Boss, mind as well admit it. Yunjin has crawled her way into your heart" Yuri says, filling her coffee cup. I roll my eyes, but I don't deny it.
Yunjin really has made her way permanently in my heart.
"Oh hush Yuri" I say, pretending to be annoyed with it. "Ha! you're not denying it" Yuri says, with a knowing smile. "Wow... Who knew we'd see the day Kim Chaewon goes soft" Garam says, walking into the kitchen.
I was about to speak, when the door opens. I turn to see who entered, and surprisingly it's Yunjin. What is she doing home so early, didn't she just get dropped off at school? I turn to my gang members, shooting them a glare. Silently telling them 'if you say a goddamn word about this... I will kill you' with my eyes.
I walk over to the couch, where Yunjin is sitting. "Hey... Why you home so early?" I ask, sitting next to her gently. She looks at me, but doesn't speak. She looks away and I search her face for any discomfort. Then I notice her hands.
My heart skips a beat. I grab one and inspect it closely. "What the actual fuck happened!?" I exclaim. Both Sakura and Yuri nod to each other and leave the room. "I-it's not my blood..." She stutters softly, that just makes me more concerned now.
"What do you mean 'it's not your blood'?" I ask, now inspecting both hands. I look at her face again, and I can see guilt in her eyes. "Yun... what happened? please talk to me" I say softly. I'm desperate to get her to talk. She stays silent for a moment.
"Promise me you won't get upset?" She asks. I nod subconsciously, agreeing to it. She takes a deep breath.
"There was this girl at school... Hanni and she said some really disrespectful things about you, she said I was a bad person for being around you, and she slapped me..." Yunjin explains.
"Oh Yunjin ... what did you do in return?"
"I beat her face in" She says. Which shocks me to my core, filling me with a mixture of emotions. On one hand, I'm proud of Yunjin for standing up for herself and defending my honor. but on the other hand...
is violence really the answer?
"What did the school say..." I ask, nervous. This type of thing could get you expelled for good. "I'm not going back, they kicked me out" She says. Which shocks me even more, but strangely gives me satisfaction?
"Did Hanni hurt you anywhere else?" I ask, concerned. Yunjin shakes her head no, but I can tell she's scared of something. "You're not mad are you?" She asks, looking at me again. I sigh. "No, I'm not mad, You just lost your temper..." I reassure her. She smiles softly, which makes my heart melt.
"There's that pretty smile I know" I say, with a slight smirk. I wrap my arms around her, pulling her closer to me. She looks up at me. "This might be a strange question but... can we cuddle?" She asks. I smile.
"Sure, yeah we can cuddle"
