HUH YUNJIN
three months later

It's been a few weeks since I came back to the hideout with Chaewon. She has been driving me to and from school. Like she said she would. I thought I wouldn't like it, but turns out I do. It's fun to get driven to school instead of rushing to get on the bus.

It is still dark out, there was a thin blanket of snow in the ground, but near the edge of the sidewalks were mini snowbanks. My alarm on my phone went off. I turned it off. I quickly got up and got myself ready.

By the time I finished getting ready, Chaewon was up, drinking her coffee. "Hurry up kiddo!" She shouts. I grab my bag and my phone. I rush down the stairs. "Bout time, I thought I was gonna have to drag you out of bed" She says, with a playful smirk. I shoot a glare in her direction.

I'm tired as is... no need for your teasing Chaewon!!

I slip my shoes on and I bundle myself up. It was below freezing, about 24° degrees. "Let's rock and roll" Chaewon says. I internally cringe.

She did not just say "let's rock and roll"...

I get in the passenger seat, and I buckle up. Chaewon gets in the driver's seat, starting up the car. We quickly pull out and start going to the campus. I plug my headphones in and start listening to music. Looking out the window, my bag in the ground in front of me.

Minutes later, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I take a headphone out and I turn to look at Chaewon, who had a friendly smile on her face. "So... you just gonna ignore me the whole time or what?" She says, taking a sip of coffee.

"I'm not ignoring you!" I say. She glances at me. "Yes you are! You're listening to music when I want to talk to you" She says, a grin plastered on her face. I roll my eyes and put my headphone back in, returning to my music.

Soon enough, we arrive at the school. I take my headphones out and put them in my bag. "Remember, If anyone and I mean ANYONE messes with you, you tell me immediately" Chaewon says, a serious expression on her face. I turn to look at her. "I know" I say, then I get out the car.

"Good Girl" She says with a smirk as I close the door. I put my bag on and walk inside the building.

KIM CHAEWON

I watch as she walks into the building, the hint of a smile on my face. I take a deep breath and rev the engine. Pulling out and driving off. I had a lot of gang business to do, I just hope I can get most of it done before she gets out.

I arrive back the hideout, parking the car and taking the keys out. The engine was now off. I walked inside. "Morning Boss" Yuri says. I nod in response. "Good Morning" I say back, walking to my office.

I arrive to my office and I sit down. Minutes later, Garam comes in. "Yes Garam? you need something?" I ask, looking up from my computer. "I have some news on the rival gang and thought you would want to hear it" She says, sitting down in the chair in front of my desk.

I nod, gesturing for her to continue. "So, they say they are going to attack somewhere today, I don't know where but it's some school" She says. A school!?

My eyes darken. "What school?" I ask. "A college, I don't know which one though" She says. I sigh. "Thank you" I say, dismissing her. She nods and leaves my office.

I quickly take my phone out, opening my contacts. I shoot Yunjin a message.

CHAEWON: Please be safe at school... and please tell me if you have a lockdown

The message sends and I put my phone on my desk. I run my fingers through my hair. Six more hours until I have to pick up Yunjin from school...

I pull up to the front of the school, parking my car. I tap my fingers against the steering wheel as I wait for the younger girl to come out the building. Soon enough, I spot Yunjin walking towards the car.

She gets in, setting her bag in front of her feet. "Hi" She says quietly. "Hi..." I say back, then I drive away from the building. "Hey... Did you have a lockdown today?" I ask, curiously. "Yeah... Why?" She says, my heart picks up speed.

"Did they tell you why?" I ask. "Yeah, they said it was a drill, there were no actual threats to the school today" She says, that calms my racing heart.

"Good..." I say. "Why do you want to know?" She asks, looking at me. I sigh. "Because I got told the rival gang was going to attack a college... I wasn't sure if it was yours or not" I say. She nods in understanding.

The rest of the drive was silent but comfortable. I glanced over at Yunjin, who fell asleep. I smile, a warm feeling rising in my chest.

"Sleep tight" I say softly, before looking back at the road.
