Those words repeated in my head. My heart pounded, I was scared. This is it? After living normally for months, I would just go back. I didn't want to die, I wanted to live. I wanted to stay with Chaewon.
She smiled wickedly as she spoke again. "Look! He's here now" She says, walking to the door. My face turned pale as she opened it. There, stood my stepfather. He looked more awful then before. He was holding something.
"There you are..." He said, walking in slowly. I struggled with the chains again. I needed to get out of here, out of here now. He lifted his arm, revealing a gun. My heart stopped for a moment. My face was white. I froze. Memories of the night coming back to me.
— FLASHBACK —
I was bleeding and on the ground. The knife my stepfather was holding now had blood on it. I was crying, holding my side. I was pleading for my stepfather to let me live. "Please! Please let me go..." I beg on the ground, blood staining my hands.
That's when I heard a voice.
"Let her go" It said, authority and coldness filled it's voice.
I turned at looked, it was the woman, from earlier. Why was she here? Is she helping me?
My stepfather looked up at her, then rose an eyebrow in confusion. "And who are you?" He asked, his voice aggressive. she stepped closer. "That's none of your business, now I suggest you step away from her" she said, standing close to me. I looked up at her, gratitude was evident in my eyes.
— END OF FLASHBACK —
Tears rolled down my cheeks one by one. The gun was aimed at my head. "No friend to help you now. Too bad, not like she would have wanted you" He says. Nako just stood in the back, watching intently. I felt fear grip my chest. It was painful.
"N-no! you're wrong" I say. "Aw, how cute. she actually likes you, but she'll find out who you are... worthless" He said, his finger on the trigger. He was dangerously close to pulling it. Then I heard a voice.

A gun clocked and a bang was heard. My eyes were closed shut out of fear. I opened my eyes to see Chaewon standing over my stepfather. He was bleeding on the ground. Nako was being held by Sakura and Yena. Chaewon ran to my side.
"Shh, it's okay babygirl. I got you" She says. I lean against her the best I can. She unlocks the chains and pulls me against her, holding me tightly.
"It's okay love, I got you" She whispers softly. I sob in her shoulder, scared for my life and so glad she's here. Then Nako struggles harder against Sakura and Yena. "NO! SHE'S SUPPOSED TO GO BACK" Nako yells.
Chaewon stands, her hand gripping mine. "Enough Nako" She snaps, her tone ice cold. "Why must you care for her so much?" Nako says angrily. "BECAUSE I CAN'T GO ON WITHOUT HER!" Chaewon yells. The room goes silent.
I look at her, shocked.
"What?"
"That's right..." She says, looking into my eyes.
"I can't go on without you, My love"
