THIRD PERSON
Chaewon dashed to her office, her feet pounding against the floor. She stops when she reaches the door so she can open it. She tries to open the door, forgetting about the smart lock. "Please enter passcode" is said in a robotic voice.
"Fuck..." Chaewon says in a whisper, then quickly enters the passcode. 05-02-22
The door opens and she rushes in. She sees Yunjin, shaking, hiding behind a chair. A pang of sadness hits her heart. She quickly pushes down her feelings. "Yunjin.." She says in a soft voice, immediately rushing to the younger girl.
Yunjin's eyes were red and puffy. Her cheeks were stained with tears. Chaewon quickly scoops the girl in her arms, holding her protective against her chest.
"Shh it's okay, it's over, you're safe" Chaewon says softly, running her fingers through Yunjin's soft red hair. After a few minutes of soothing words and softly crying. Yunjin speaks up, her voice filled with tears.
"Are you okay?.." She asks, looking up at the blonde haired girl. Chaewon smiled softly, her heart warming. "I'm fine Yun... but are you okay?" The older girl asks, stroking the girls hair still. "I was scared... I heard the gunshots... I thought something bad happened to you... I thought I was next" Yunjin said, her voice shaky and ragged.
"Oh Yun... Nothing and No one will ever hurt you, They have to get through me first" Chaewon reassures the red haired girl. Yunjin looks at Chaewon. Chaewon looks at Yunjin.
Their faces inches apart. Their lips almost touching. Then the door opens, revealing Sakura. Chaewon quickly pulls away in annoyance and surprise. "Boss, we got rid of Nako, put her in the holding room. She's tied up pretty good so she can't escape" Sakura says. Chaewon nods, relieved.
"Thank you for that" Chaewon says, Yunjin buries her head back in her chest, clinging to Chaewon tightly.
Sakura notices and gives a knowing smirk. Chaewon shoots her a glare, silently warning her to tell no one about this. Sakura leaves, leaving Chaewon and Yunjin alone.
Chaewon looks down at Yunjin. "Come on, you can sleep with me tonight" she says, leading Yunjin to her bedroom.
