I give you all the space
Like standing at the edge of a cliff, tasting the sky
Like holding a newborn bird in trembling hands
Like running barefoot through a rainstorm
Like letting go of a kite and watching it soar.
I give you all the space
Like throwing open windows in a room long closed
Like floating in the ocean, feeling weightless
Like opening a door that leads to nowhere, but going through
Being brave, unsure, unburdened.
I give you all the space
Like handing you a map with no roads drawn
Like finding silence in the chaos of the world
Like sharing my last breath, knowing it’s enough
And I ask, in wonder, do you see how wide I’ve let love grow?
