The next dayLeslie was in a room at the hospital, She was gonna have to wear a cast for a while because the bullet had broken her bone. Olivia died on the way to the hospital last night, she lost too much blood. As for Ruby, he made it through surgery.
The two of them haven't woke up, doctors said that they might be in a coma for a while. I understand that Leslie's wasn't that bad, but since she was a kid. Her bones were weak from how small she was so that caused a lot of trauma.
Especially the abuse, Lillian had planned to take her to a therapist. All the stuff that's happening right now, what happened in the past. She had gone through worse than a kid should go through, this isn't something right for a kid.
Lillian sat next to her bed, her eyes were tired, and she looked like she hadn't gone any sleep and she didn't. That was her daughter lying in that bed, surprisingly not one of her ex-boyfriends.
She gave birth to her and took care of her, even when Lillian was struggling and Oscar left her to take care of their sons when she was pregnant with Leslie. She took care of them, she was 17 and thankfully her mom had helped her.
Lillian's eyes burned with tears, her vision going blurry. Her hands started to shake and warm tears began to fall, she placed her head in her hands and sobbed.
Her chest started going up and down fast, she dropped her hands and hugged Leslie's sweater. Josiah had dropped it from the shock of seeing her like that, it had small blood stains.
Lillian stared at it, remembering the night before. The screams, gunshots, Latrelle. Oh, she's gonna kill his ass, the moment she finds him, he's dead. That son of a bitch almost killed Leslie, ain't no way he getting past a mother's rage.Oh shit, Levi and Owen, they had left the party because they were mad at each other. Levi found out that his crush liked Owen and they argued, I mean it ain't his fault.
Anyway, Lillian glanced at Leslie, her usual smile gone. Just faded into a blank expression, she probably not gonna have that smile for a while. Like what kinda person would make a kid go through that, she's 8.
Lillian's eyes slowly fell, she kept trying to shake it off but she didn't get any sleep so she had to. Her eyes closed slowly because what if something happened, literally right that second? Finally, she closed those damn eyes😒
She felt her body relax and calm down, and like that, she fell asleep😝 I got lazy right here
Oscar held a bag that had something for Leslie, he walked through the empty hallway, and there was an open door that had a family in it. The man who looked like the dad was in the hospital bed, the other three were like the sons and mom.
He remembered how he was in that situation once, Oscar did miss Levi and Owen. If only Lillian didn't "leave" for Bakersfield, maybe they would've been a great family or type shit.
Well, he only left because he didn't want the twins to grow up in the gang life, but he still would've stayed in their life. Lillian was the one who "left" because Oscar was the worst dad ever, even when he would do anything for them.
Oscar didn't have a dad, he grew up without one. He just hoped that they had a great step dad😔 they didn't honey
He saw Leslie's room and walked a little faster, he didn't want anyone to see him, ain't no way someone was gonna see a gang leader going to a little girl's hospital room. He pushed open the door because it was left open a bit, and that's when he saw Lillian... sleeping guys😝
Oscar's eyes widened and his mouth opened a bit, his expression relaxed a bit as he saw Leslie. He felt bad really, but he placed the gift down gently and stared at Lillian. Wait, Leslie did look like Lillian. No...
Oscar rushed towards the clipboard that was hanging on the wall, he grabbed and looked over the paper before seeing "guardians" for the first time that word was terrifying. He saw Lillian's name and then... His
His eyes widened as he felt guilt, sadness, and anger. Not at Latrelle, not at Cesar, himself. He let someone shoot his daughter that he didn't even know about, well he was also mad at Lillian because she let Leslie grow up without a dad.
Oscar knew everything about not growing up without a dad, he didn't want Leslie like him, not doing the same shit or going through the same shit. He was messed up enough and Leslie is gonna be like that, that's something a father would never want his daughter to go through.
Lillian groaned as she slurred awake, her eyes flickering open. She saw Oscar and that type of shit was scary, seeing your baby daddy after 8 years is normal I guess...
"Why didn't you tell me?" He held up the clipboard, Lillian sighed as she looked down. She stood up and tried to get out, "No, no, no. You're not leaving until we talk," he argued.
Her expression hardened as she stared at Oscar, "it's not my fault, I didn't want them to grow up in a gang. There's no way I'll ever let my kids grow up the same way I did," she yelled. Oscar rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest, he cursed under his breath and looked away.
"I said I would be in their life, not let them in the gang life. People say that I'm a monster because of you!" Oscar explained, he put the clipboard back and turned to look at her. Lillian rolled her eyes and groaned, let's just hope Leslie doesn't hear this so she still thinks that it's Oscar's fault.
"Let me see Levi and Owen-"
"No," she interrupted. Lillian crossed her arms over her chest, she tried to seem imitating but that shit wasn't working.
"Please, they're my sons too," he begged.
"Fine, but it'll have to be when Leslie isn't home. Like at school , soccer practice, or color guard. Fucking volleyball, I don't know," Lillian gave in. Oscar sighed in relief, he smiled a bit. I mean who wouldn't, he gets to see his kids again.
Oscar wrapped his arms around her, he felt the warmth of her body pressed against his, the softness of her skin against his chest. It felt good to have Lillian back in his arms, they did have a good relationship but guess who ruined it?
Lillian was shocked at first but then gave in, her arms tightly around his body, she had to hug someone after the whole Latrelle shit. She lifted her head up but accidentally kissed Oscar... he was surprised but leaned in and wow, they continued kissing.
Later, they did the no no😏 jk I ain't explaining that shit
Bye, we won't talk about the end
