Season 2, Episode 2Ruby was supposed to help Jamal get the Roller World money back. As he walked along the sidewalk, he had to pass by Oscar's house and hoped that Oscar wouldn't notice him. Unfortunately, he did.
"Hey!" Oscar yelled, causing Ruby to move over to the street.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" Oscar called out. Ruby stopped and turned to face him. In frustration, he kicked a plastic box that Oscar's foot was resting on.
"What?" Ruby asked angrily, moving closer to Oscar. Oscar's expression was a mixture of concern and his usual demeanor.
"I just wanted to check up on you. You good?" he asked.
"No, I'm not good!" Ruby snapped, getting in Oscar's face.
"Yo, chill out," Oscar replied.
"Chill out?" Ruby exclaimed. "That's all you can say as you sit there on your damn throne? I got shot! And my friend, who was the most amazing person I've ever known, died because of you. And for what? Nothing! Just some bullshit beef that doesn't matter, and that night plays on repeat in my head. Every time I move my arm—which is often because I'm a gesticulator—it reminds me of that night. Thanks to you! So don't tell me to chill out!" Ruby finished, his voice rising with emotion.
"You must be in the anger stage," Oscar said coolly, taking a sip from his drink. The Santos around them chuckled. Ruby felt a mix of surprise and relief for standing up to the leader of a gang.
Leslie hasn't been able to go out in a while like Lillian has been on her ass lately. I mean who wouldn't, she got shot. Anyway, Leslie was chilling on her bed and watching victorious.
That's when Levi just busted through the door, "Leslie, wanna go the park with me and Owen?" He asked Leslie to think about it for a second but Lillian would refuse. She's on lockdown, it's like you're hiding from the purge or something.
"Mom's gonna say no, she's keeping me on lockdown." She replied, Levi chuckled and smiled. His braces were showing off and he got them at a young age because his teeth were fucked up, it's not even funny.
"We could sneak out, it's not like we haven't done that before." He suggested, Leslie thought about it for a second and sighed. "Sure, we'll go when it's midnight." She agreed.
Levi smiled softly and nodded as he drifted out of the room, Leslie glanced back at the TV and sank more into the bed. She sighed softly and stared down at the ground, she zoned out.
Leslie was thinking about that night, the gunshots, the screams, Latrelle. She was terrified because he wasn't found yet like the police were not trying at all. She was shot, Olivia is dead, Ruby is alive but shot as well.
I mean it's LA, what do you expect from the police? Anyway, her vision began to blur. Tears were practically begging to come out until she gave up and let them fall. Leslie pulled her legs up and covered her face, her shoulders going up and down, and quietly sobbed.
Leslie pulled her head up and left her head resting on her arms, she continued sobbing softly hoping someone wouldn't hear her. She finally calmed down a bit and just stared blankly at the ground.

Leslie followed behind her brothers, she was wearing a black sweater with gray sweats. Josiah's brother, Zach, and Josiah came along. Zach was 14 and one of the 4 siblings that Josiah has. They walked around the neighborhood and saw some fights, drug dealing, and you're regular hood stuff.
"What if we go ding dong ditching?" Owen suggested, they all stopped walking and glanced around. It was like "bro should we?" Leslie groaned and replied, "Sure," her accent coming out.
"Bet, let's do this line of houses and probably do other ones." Owen pointed at some houses. Levi moved towards a house carefully, once he reached the door he banged on the door and sprinted away.
The group ran as well and hid behind a tree, well two kids were behind one tree and the other three were behind another tree. A man came out with a gun, "Ay! Y'all wanna play like that? Then come on out!" He shouted.
He looked like he was in his early thirties, he was shirtless and wearing boxers. Leslie's expression looked disgusted, but she had brothers so it was nothing she hadn't seen before (I'm talking about the boxers, also she's seen them like 2 times like"
"Bro, we shouldn't do this anymore unless it's a neighborhood that understands shit," Josiah said terrified.
I'm so sorry that it's short and rushed, I've been busy with a lot of stuff and I'll try posting more early. Anyway, I feel like I wanna change the twin's face claims. If you have some ideas, say whatever you think will be best.
Bye 😘
