Season 2, Episode 3
TW: curse words,

Leslie finally got her cast off, then school started again before she got to rest. Now she has to deal with her bullies all over again, and it was all white boys and girls who bullied her.

She sat on the field with her friend, Millie. She was white, couldn't speak a word of Spanish, and was failing it too. She's British though, Leslie loved her because they never made fun of their accents.

Anyway, two of Leslie's bullies came up to her. "Border hopper, start wearing makeup. You'll probably look better just like your fine-ass mom." One of them joked. Leslie raised an eyebrow at the two of them, she pointed her middle finger at them.

"Liam, shut your white ass up. At least I can pull more girls than you, I ain't even a boy." Leslie snapped, Liam laughed and his friend snickered a bit. Not at her, at Liam.

"Bro, you can't speak English without stuttering for shit." He argued. A soccer ball was stopped behind his knees, Liam kicked it back to some other boys but the way the ball was kicked, it was crooked it ain't even funny.

"Yeah? And you can't kick for shit." Leslie argued back.

"Well, at least I don't have friends who are black, some bald dude, a dwarf, a gang leader, and probably other people too," Liam said.

"You live in Brentwood, it's legendary for you to have friends like that, and I ain't even friends with Oscar. His hoe ass just looks like me and he's Cesar's brother, ima see him like half the time." She fumed.

Liam seemed pissed and stormed off, his friend glared at them and followed Liam. Millie seemed surprised, usually, she was defending her because Leslie just lets shit slide.

Then the bell rang, and Leslie immediately got up and rushed towards her classroom. Millie tried to catch up but my girl plays soccer so her bitch-ass was fast, they got there and sat at their assigned seats. Which were next to each other.

Their English teacher, Mrs. Williams. She was caucasian and was hella racist, but we don't talk about that. The whole class was already there so the both of them were late, "Leslie, Millie. Why were you late, selling drugs?" She joked.

"It was 4 minutes, I don't think we could make a drug deal in 4 minutes." Leslie angrily corrected.

"Don't give me an attitude missy." Mrs.Williams accused. "How about you go to the office and tell them what you did?" Her finger pointed toward the door, and Leslie clenched her jaw and silently marched out.

"We have to move the money, I can't be the keeper alone, It's not safe." Jamal sat down.

"Abuelita, I reserved the table for a two-hour block. Did you not see my note on the fridge?" Marisol ignored him kept counting the money, and wrote it down.

"It's fine. She knows about the money." Jamal reassured, Ruby looked up and down at her before pushing it away. "Okay. Well, since we found the money, I've done copious research."

"This is why we're best friends." Jamal quoted.

"You're best friends?" Monse questioned, "Yeah, you guys get to make out, we get to be best friends. It's a trade-off, present." He directed toward Cesar and Monse, Ruby held up his notebook but he was probably on the wrong page because um it read "How to lose virginity by 18".

The group started laughing and Leslie was shocked, "Ew! And no!" Monse sternly told Ruby, he quickly flipped the page and showed the correct one about the money. They continued laughing and Ruby was fed up, "Okay, team! We have 37-year-old cash that we can't spend without raising eyebrows. And we've all seen breaking bad. We need a cash business."

"Treinta, cuarenta, sesenta." Marisol counted.

"Abuelita, please! We're trying to figure out how to clean the money." Ruby stated.

"Jamal, your dad literally owns a business," Cesar suggested. "No way. My dad's super particular about the books. It would never work. But what if we started our own business?" Jamal also suggested. "How's Ruben's fancy festivities coming along?" He asked.

"At least three years away from launch, pending a silicon beach infusion," Ruby replied. Marisol continued counting and was stuck on something but Monse helped her out because that's how nice she is. "Ah! I put down too much." She chuckled.

Ruby's phone vibrated and Leslie was curious about who it was, but he was talking about his neck, maybe she didn't wanna know who it was anymore. He ended the call and looked at Jamal, "Jamal, measure my neck." Ruby asked.

"Okay, no. You need to give me your phone. This is not a joke. We're trying to move the money, and you're here playing twiddly-thumbs with Jazmaspez. Just don't text her back." Jamal took his phone. No wonder he was talking about that, it's not a surprise from Jasmine.

"As if it were that easy! I have a mortal obligation to reply."

"Or what? The universe is going to strike you down?"

"Maybe! You know what? I'm calling it for today. I think we're hitting a wall. Let's reconvene tomorrow after a good night's sleep." Ruby recommended.

Leslie groaned and placed her head in her hands, she was done with this conversation.

The next day

Monse and Leslie were hanging out after she had met Julia, she's been mentioning her a lot and how she thought she was her mom and she was. But they were at Monse's house because Lillian said she'd pick her up later, she usually walked home but not today for some reason.

"So Julia, Selena, whatever her name is, is your mom?" Leslie asked. Monse nodded and still seemed shocked, I mean finding out who your parent were after they left was weird, especially when they were 10 miles away.

"Dude, she was 10 miles away from me. I saw her on Halloween!" She replied, Leslie sighed softly and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'll punch her if you-" she threatened.

"Leslie, no. Don't even think about it, she's not worth it." Monse interrupted, she gave a stern look at Leslie. My bro looked like Lillian, oh no. She's gonna her ass beat when she gets home or in the car, fucking white teacher.

Anyway, they sat in silence for a while before Monse spoke up." What did you think of Olivia?" She asked, Leslie thought about it for a second. "Well first, she couldn't speak Spanish for shit and she was cool. Was never gonna replace your thing." She replied.

Monse smiled and looked down, she hugged Leslie tightly. "No one will ever replace you either, I promise." She whispered, Leslie hugged her back and smiled. Maybe everything ain't that good, but she has Monse and that's all she needs.

Posting early? Y'all is it raining? Jk, but Monse and Leslie😔 I promise I won't ruin their friendship, anyway, let's see if I can post early again
