"So when will you go on a honeymoon?", Divyansh, his brother asked.
Their eyes got widen and Divya, his mother, almost spilled the water that she drank.
Dhruv gave Divyansh a death glare to stop him and he stopped but they were surrounded by a very uncomfortable silence in which no one chose to speak.
Soon, the kids barged in and held the hand of their mother and Aarohi spoke, "mumma, we are hungry.", they said while trying to pull Devika with them.
She stood up and excused herself from them to cook something for her kids.
Meanwhile, Dhruv was sitting there, in the uncomfortable silence which was created by none other then his own brother.
"Mumma, I will go and help bhabhi.", Dhriti said while standing and and going towards the kitchen.
After a while, Dhruv xhose to break the silence, "Mumma, Papa. How about we go on a trip all together? We can go to New york to chacha and chachi ji's house for a break and they will also meet Devika and Aarohi. They also weren't able to come in the wedding.", Dhruv said while looking towards his parents.
"Yes, why not. We didn't have a family get together in a long time. You are right, we will go to New York to meet Akash and Anamika there. Ansh and Aarohi will be so happy to meet their cousins. They all are same age.", Arnav, his father said while a smile was playing on his lips remembering the last time he spent with his brother.
"Yes, we can also meet Adarsh and Adya there. We will have fun.", Divyansh, his brother said.
They all were having a conversation when Devika entered the room with a cup of tea and some biscuits.
"I made it since today is rainy so I thought to make some tea as it is a great combo with rain. If you want, I will also make some pakodas.", Devika says while placing the tray on the table.
"No need of making pakode. By the way we planned to go to New York where your chacha chachi lives for a trip. By the way, Tea is nice beta.", Divya said while sipping her tea.
"Thank you mumma. As about trip, I am a bit busy. I haven't been able to go to office from alot of time because of the marriage so alot of work is pending.", she says while taking her seat beside her husband.
"Beta, I can understand but you just got married, you should spend your time with your husband and your family. Your bother and father can handle the work and it's only for 15 days. We haven't planned it so untill then you can visit your company.", Arnav said to his only daughter in law.
"Okay papa, I will manage.", she said with a smile.
"So it's confirmed. The whole Goenka family is going on a trip to New York.", Drishti said, being excited.
"Bhabhi, today if you want, can we go for shopping? I mean, you must be tired. No worries, we can go on another day.", Drishti said.
"I am sorry, I am not free today but we can go on Sunday? If you are free on that day so.", Devika said while passing a small smile towards Drishti.
"Okay bhabhi, we will spend all the earnings of bhaiya. But bhabhi, you must be tired today so I think that you should skip going office today. You should spend time with us.", Drishti said to Devika while being concerned towards her bhabhi.
"I have alot of work to do. And remember we also have to go on a trip so I have to complete some important work before that.", Devika said.
"Okay, I can't say anything because it is important otherwise I would have stopped you.", Drishti said.
