The car ride took shorter then expected due to lack of traffic. It was unusually quiet. Although, Marjorie was glad about it. She was still a bit nervous on the road despite being able to drive for over ten years.
Reece was careful while getting out the car to not from the hot chocolate or chocolate donut.
The sky was cloudy but the temperature was warm. In the distance the sound of birds in the local dog park.
"Let's go see Carly!" Marjorie smiles, gently tugging Reece on the arm
"Okay." Reece follows Marjorie happily.

Carly was lying in her hospital bed, he mind was still spiralling. She wishes she could have been skinnier and prettier. Maybe then she would have been heard sooner, maybe her dad would have cared maybe she wouldn't have been bullied and ridiculed in school maybe-
Carly's thought process was abruptly shut down when Marjorie came throw the door with Reece in tow.
"Hello, my love." Marjorie smiled softly at Carly.
"Hi, Marj.." Carly smiled, Reece saw it and immediately could tell something was wrong. The smile seemed forced as is it physically hurt Carly to produce a sincere smile.
"Hi, carls." Reece spoke, he picked the nickname up from Sorscha while speaking about Carly to her. The name had kinds stuck so for the past few days that's what Reece had been Calling her.
Carly's face dropped when she saw the drink and food Reece was holding. Reece saw this immediately and quickly picked up what had happened.
"Did somebody say something to you..?" Reece whispered, trying to be carful with the wording and to not offend Carly in anyway.
Carly nodded, she was avoiding eye contact.
"Was it about your weight?"
Nod.
"Do you want a hug?"
Normally Carly would have said no but this time was different.
Nod.
Reece carefully wrapped his arms around her to hug her.

Sooooo, I wrote this a week ago and I'm only just now publishing it! Sorry for the wait chapter 14 took FOREVER that and I'm currently helping animate a gacha series! I've not actually started yet but making the characters for some reason took so much of my motivation D: I'll hopefully have another chapter out tomorrow but sadly no promises! I'll try update more but school is harder then normal D: #hatesparksmathandsparksscience anywayssss hope you likes this! It's a bit more heart warming although I admit she is getting better quicker then most people would but I'm going to try to fit in ways to show she's still recovered. Ily all! <3
